sorry I was out of town til late yesterday, Julie, and only this morning am seeing your tag. I think it was a reasonable choice to go to 5.5u when you did, given that she was stuck and had already had 8 cycles of 5.0u. Hindsight always lets one see more clearly of course. I think your choice after she got into green yesterday to drop the dose, given your health concerns, was a fine choice as well. I might've only decreased to 5.25u since she had spent as long as she did on the 5.0u and wasn't really getting anywhere, but now that you're at 5.0u you can try again with it and see how she does this time.

Sometimes a dose that didn't work before will work this time, and sometimes a dose that DID work before will stop working. All you can do is try and see what happens. At least this tells you that you're now in the ballpark on the dose.

By the way, if you feel very desperate you can send a PM instead of a tag. Usually there is someone on who will help with dosing, but if you aren't getting any people who feel comfortable with it, a PM will result in an email to the person. We only get tags once we go on FDMB.

What a nice report on her this morning. She sounds very happy and like she feels good.

I don't think you did anything to make her be in pink. I'm wondering if this is a delayed bounce from the greens night before last. I have seen some cats that build up to a bounce in (what I think is) a weird manner, like climbing up a mountain and taking their sweet time getting to the top. That 300 at am +3 this morning looks to me like she's getting to the top of a bounce. Remember, bounces aren't usually a straight 400-400-400 - many cats seem to bobble around while they are in a bounce.

See how she is tomorrow and maybe it will be more obvious, or maybe it's not a bounce. But I'm thinking that's what it looks like to me.

The dose decrease could be a factor, of course. Time will tell us.

I hope it's a bounce!!

I should not have delayed and reduced at the same time!! That's something I know, but I just was not thinking. I should have held the dose at least for the cycle that was delayed. Oh well, too late now.

I really am not liking the pink. Will see what she does the next couple cycles. I'm thinking maybe a failed reduction and go ahead and increase to 5.25. I know, I'm getting ahead of things!
