Not been about much recently Juliet, and in case I don't see you before his dental, I wish you and Silver, all the best.

I hope the extra juice helps with the ketones.
 
Silver is the only patient for surgery on Wednesday so that's good. They take him in first thing and then he can get food and shot. Gonna be horrible withholding food while feeding my civvie. Thinking of feeding civvie once I've put Silver in the car. He asks for food from 4am onwards so he's gonna be an unhappy boy :arghh:.

I sent note by email to vet practice already saying no Convenia and no Metacam plus instructions re testing before giving him his food and insulin.

Higher tonight due to being an hour late due to terrorist attack in Toronto. @@@@@hole drove a truck through a sidewalk full of people including a mother pushing a stroller. 9 confirmed dead; 16 more in hospital. Not good :mad::mad::mad:

Positive note - keytones are DOWN from 6.1 last reading to 2.4 tonight. I am pleased as I believe @Sandy and Black Kitty said that is trace on a Novamax? Can you confirm? I can't find @Tracey&Jones post.
 
That attack is horrible!

Hurray for that drop in ketones. Great report! :smuggrin: Before you know it, you'll be past the dental and will be able to breathe easier.

Fantastic news on the ketones. There is a post in the Health Links forum about ketones and meters. It says they start to show up in cats between 2.4 and 2.55.

Some people are just sick. :( Glad they caught the guy. I imagine GTO was gridlock.

Yeah it was nuts downtown. There's a huge Blue Jays game on tonight and they were taking extra precautions. Looks like this guy not linked to terror groups tho so that's something. Just some crazy madman.
