Good Afternoon L&LL,
Rusty is having a pretty good day. He spent some time mending the shark nets, but now is in bounce mode.
He ate most of his breakfast, had a poop (stitches seem still be intact), ate about half of his lunch (waiting until Happy Hour to finish it), and enjoyed the sunshine and spring-time warmth (first real spring-like day).
We decided to spring for Spring and took the insulating quilts off the doors to the porches. Now our living space is almost doubled! (Our house was a "cure cottage" in the days when tuberculous curing was the village's main industry. TB patients were to sit in deck chairs on their porches in all seasons and weather to breathe the mountain air. The 5 porches--large front porch on the ground floor and 4 porches on the second floor, one for each room-- have the original sliding windows, so they are not open to snow or rain, just cold.)
Hope you all are having a good day. bbl
