I wrote this yesterday in Mannie's condo about the day before: "wow - Another great day yesterday for Mannie. dancing_cat The AM cycle was a wonderful blue surf. amazing in itself in that he is still dealing with having a baby in the house for part of the day. it is nice to see that even though the crying upsets him it apparently does not upset his numbers. YAY! WOW on the PM cycle -how great was that? Loved the greens. :mrgreen: Mannie - very good job! Your bean is proud of you! and your internal organs. cat_pet_icon" It stands today as well. What a day, what a kitty, and I am very grateful.

Mannie was very patient with all the pokies last night, as he was the night before. :cool: I find it fun, cute, predictable, reassuring that, when it was apparent to him that we were in poke-a-thon mode, after each one he'd seek out the nanners. They'd get a rub, and cuddle, and then he's settle down, catch a few ZZZzzz's on top of the pile. Each time that I'd get things set for the next poke, he'd hear me, and report for duty, give a few purrs, assume the test position, sigh rather visibly, and return to the nanners once the deed was done. Love ya big guy, you make it so easy! :-D Normalcy in MannieLand this morning: clean plate club continues, auto feeder ignored: it went to the civvie :roll: and bean had to reserve breffis #2 and #3, my getting ready was supervised by the nanner king with many purrs headrubs and chin scritches (guess I passed), interior has been secured: including the nanners, and the baby's toy basket. Things are good. :cool: :-D :razz:

Have a great day everyone! I am off for a morning walk to the shore, and later a reunion potluck for my DD's synchronized swim team (which she did for 10 years as a teen). Looking forward to both! :-D :-D

My friends!!! KTSS big time this morning! or afternoon, or.... we have so many sick friends. I need more pots for the soup! and Tobey: get them paws limbered up - lots of massages needed. Afterwards we need to help Gracie with her catnip patch, them bad mens are back, and the patch is in danger... See you guys there! Maybe we can go mountain hang gliding again..~~ Mannie

Mannie has been doing so well lately. :-D :-D :-D Last night was awesome, I would be nice if he did it in the day though. Oh wait! Then you couldn't go out.

Michelle: what a night you had. How late do you usually have to sat up?

Enjoy your walk and potluck tonight. I was alway amazed by the talented sync swimmers going up...I swam competitively for about 12 years and would sometime watch their practices....I'll stick to swimming.

Morning guys!

Hi Tena - my boys were competitive simmers too... about the same amount of time as you. Synchro is tough, a lot harder than most think. and the cross training? she'd so extensive pool lap work, weight training, gymnastics mixed with dance - it all is part of what goes into synchro. she did well with it - made a few national competitions.... anyways - it will be good to see the team once again. --- and on Mannie: his +6 is about 10:30PM (nadir, most times)- which is great for the PM stuff, a killer though when you are up and at it again at 4:30AM.... i do OK: it's all in the mind set: once I go to bed that day is history, and we focus on the next day when we get up....

Hi Ann - I KNOW.... so true - I keep thinking this would be great if it were in the day, but then... I'd be stuck at home. uhhhh.... no...... His nadir is usually early enough though.... as long as I can get back by late afternoon....

Hi Michelle, I see you had a pajama party last night! What a great cycle. Those nanners are so cute the way Mannie guards them. It's like his security blanket. Glad he is getting used to DGS. It's amazing how patient they are with all the poking, Maggie is the same away even when I have to poke more than once to get a drop.

Hey Mannie, I left a message in the LooseLips thread for ya; I'm confused where to post, but I think it's over yonder. Can't wait to see ya and all our friends, Mags

Mannie sure knows how to churn out those great cycles lately!! I see a very brief blip here and I bet he gets back to blue/green again today. And after all, it IS most important when you're getting poked alot to have nanners available as a comfort!! :lol: :lol:

Mannie: Tobey and I are standing by and ready for KTSS and then mountain hang gliding....it's a perfect day for it and if any kitties don't feel like doing that, mamabean bought some new cushions for the outdoor furniture yesterday and the other kitties can chill on it and watch the catnip!!

Michelle, it looks like you and Mannie were up later than me and Simon last night. Great numbers but hope you are not too exhausted. You must be able to function on little sleep! Enjoy your walk and your visit later on today.

424 @ +11. yes, that is correct: 424. I guess all good things can come to an end, or be derailed temporarily. well, so we start again... it seems so inconsequential when I think of Copper, or Butthead, or Rocket, or any of our kitties who are truly sick. It's only one number.

and.... it seems that while I was gone dear dear absentminded DH left his plate out, loaded with really bad things for a FD kitty, and guess who has his face in it.... maybe that explains the 424. :-x :roll: :YMSIGH:

Hi Lisa - I hope your weather improves - I keep hearing on the news how bad it is here. I did make my morning walk - nice sunny day here, and I had a great time.

Hi Georgia - yep, late night - well it was 11PM - he has an early shoot time, so... not too bad. And yep - I can get by on little sleep, with breaks in that now and then.

Hi Marje - it rally pains me to see that 424 - wanted to cry, after the cycles he's been having... dammit! well, we shall see what the PM one brings. paws crossed! :lol: :lol: on the nanners - that they are: comfort!

Gracie - YAY on Tobey - he will be busy! The KTSS has much to do, we have to visit Copper, he is very sad. I am excited that we can nag glide off the mountains there - I want to do one glide for Copper. thank your bran for the new cushions! I LUBS new cushions - they are soooooo soft and squishy. Hi Ann - missed yours! Yes - quite the PJ party last night. :-D and ye son the nanners - I think so too, he finds comfort there. It is great when they are patient like that for the pokes. :cool: :cool:

And yes on the post for Mannie... this is like having to maintain two condos now... I've got to visit what is over there next. I suppose there will be a little here and there til all get used to it. :-D

Geez...it's like Mannie is pulling a Champ, making that big obnoxious swing from the 200's to the 400's. Well, at least he has sense enough to start coming down now. Good boy, Mannie!! Keep it going.

Hi Ann and Patty - thank you both. After the past week and a half, maybe even two this afternoon was difficult, even when one knows he'll be back down.

Mannie's coming down, but just how far will he go? Stay tuned...I wish I could stay up, but it's test time for the girl, and then zzzzzzzzzzzzzs for me. Up early tomorrow for Easter festivities. Guess I'll have to watch the Mannie Show when we get home tomorrow. Thinking good thoughts...
