Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (YUM! Elsa outdid herself this morning: PRIMO!), and Happy Wacky Wednesday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, KBP!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! GUESS WHAT! Today is WACKY WEDNESDAY!!! Just like every Wednesday Lola and Bug SWEAR that it won't be wacky pizzas, just wacky Wednesday. Whatever that means.... The whack-a-thon marathons continue. Excellent pizzas to the best whacker! so... well... Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot espressos, with beans from Starbucks Pike Place Market, their original blend, AND.... for all my Mocha fans: a venti quad peppermint white chocolate mocha, with peppermint infused whip, garnished with peppermint candy chips and white chocolate shavings. SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of mint and vanilla and cimmamum swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with peppermint chips and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good!

I hope everyone had a great Tuesday, that the day was a good one. Mine was a little laid back, though I did get things done, just didn't travel or hike yesterday. The local trails won out, as I really did need to get things caught up at home. So we did! Weather held too, which was nice. This is what I wrote last night on the day: "Hi everyone! Good day for everybody? We did OK here. The weather sure has been a hit or miss kind of a day. WSDOT sent out an email, plus a FB post, about how they expect snow tonight and tomorrow up at the Mountain passes, elevation around 2500. They think that if that should occur the "reopening" of all lanes this Friday may not happen.  Dang it! No Eastern Washington trips yet? you gotta love it. Well maybe none of it will happen anyways. We had sun show up here about 1 or so. Wow, so much for the deluge that was supposed to happen. Tomorrow has been revised from 100% down to 60%. improvement. YAY! Breakfast with Anthony was nice, good as always. There is no new news there from him. Work remains as frustrating as it always has been, but he deals. Sun showed up at one, so I headed on out for a walk/hike to the usual spot: Meadowdale. So nice to see that sun, made for a nice hike. Tide was out some so I could actually walk some of the shoreline. By 3 the skies ere getting a little ugly, so headed on home. Now we kinda have a 50/50 mix of vivid blue skies and white clouds. If that stays that was til 8 we ought to have a great sunset. Hope so. "

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!   The kitties were good kitties yesterday, even Lola, for the most part... Lola will always be Lola. The weather was borderline most if the day yesterday, rains in the morning, and threatening clouds by 6PM, In between - a few rays of sun! When it was overcast that meant a sleepy day for the kitties. They all take one look at that and head off to nap. When it was sunny they all were on high alert. It was as if there was this switch that was triggered by a ray of sun.  And Lola? She still likes to look out the windows, rain or shine. Still pounding on them, still running from one to the other, still looking for he escape route. Yesterday was cleaning day. AND (!!) Lola was my helper, big time. She was back to riding on the dust mop, and chasing the vacuum.   She is so fun. She did leave the plants alone though. YIPPIE!!

Have a great day everyone. I am back on Nicholas and William duty today. Nicholas and I are off to swim this morning, while William spends that time at the other grandparents. We are due for rains as far as the eye can see today. I so hope they are wrong, so that we can at least get some time in at the park. I will try and get to condos when I can....

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN!! cat_pet_icon

Hi Michelle,
Sending you some sunshine vines - I know you will have a great day with the boys :-D

Thanks Elsa for the ~O) ~O) Definitely needed today

Morning Jane ~O) ~O) ~O) Many thanks - we need those vines as I watch the drizzle start to fall. ;-) THX on today - I am sure it will be fun for all. YAY!
Auntie Jane - you gots it! Funny, but my bean said the same thing! I had to make her two! ~~ Elsa, KBP

Hi guys .. well I hope you get that sunshine you are hoping for ... wouldn't mind if you send some of that rain our way .. maybe we can get our grass and flowers kick started! have a great day guys!

I hope you get some sun today so you can get outside with the boys. I love hearing about Lola helping you clean.

I love the pictures from yesterday. Is that one of a jellyfish on a fallen tree?

Hi everyone! Hope the day has treated you well. We did remarkably well here. Rains stopped early, rest of the day was a 50/50 cloud blue sky thing, and not too bad for the temps, maybe 55 tops. Rains held off until the evening commute about 4 or so. No complaints here! They still say that tomorrow will be a soaker, 80/90%. Bummer! ;-) It was a good day here for the boys, well me too. Pool was great, Nicholas gave it his all today, not too bad considering he was up darn late after the Mariners baseball game last night. Played as well as he always does, worked on what he wanted to work on, then he was done. I love it how he will always tell me when he's ready to go. Nice that he knows his limits. Today just under two hours. We did just about everything today, per the norm. Even the buckets. cool! William was dropped off there about noon, so got them both fed and then hit the pool trail after that. I am grateful in a way for that trail. it's a decent one for them, feels like the great outdoors, has water, and berries, and I know I can get him some outdoor "hike" time, right after swim, before he crashes. It works. We learned more about skunk cabbage today, and took on a new subject: ferns, as they are stating to grow now. anyways- great time on the trail. William likes it too. He seems to feel that there are great sticks there. , but true... I will post the Picassa link in tomorrow's condo.

Hi Devon - I can arrange that! All our excess rains are headed your way. if only it were that simple, huh. :-D THX on today - great time, and even a little sun.

Hi Melissa - THX, it did! oh yes on that busy....

Hi Carla - THX, we did! A little bit of sun but it was enough to be able to get out some. As long as the rains hold off we usually are good to go. Me too on Lola - Silly cat, but she loves to clean. THX on the pics - that one is actually a piece of beach glass on a log. I really liked the way it looked like what it wasn't.

So happy to hear that the weather held out for a little swim! I hope the weather forecasters are wrong about tomorrow. Scritches to kitties (even Lola...since she left your plants alone!) Happy Wednesday, Michelle!!!!

Morning Deborah ~O) ~O) ~O) Me too - we were able to get out yesterday, always a plus for the boys. Me too on today, I hope for any sort of a break... paws are crossed! LOL on Lola, but that is true. She was, for the most part, a very good girl yesterday. :-D
