Forgot to take his boot off this morningHe seems comfy under the blanket. Kidney values haven't changed much from last time BUN still over 100. Chronic acute kidney disease. Not sure what stage. I asked the vet who's covering to find out. Bandage change is still pending.

Do you have a soft cone to use for Leroy?
Those hard plastic ones are terrible.
I wish hospitals would offer a soft one instead (I bring my own).

I don't. But Leroy doesn't mind the plastic cone. No new updates.

He's going into surgery right now to get the bandage changed. Hopefully his hock has healed

The surgeon says the hock is healing well. There's another bandage change next week and probably another check of BUN and more IV fluids.

Stage 2 kidney disease New sedation for next time: gaba only the morning of and 1/4 Trazadone. He was too cold and had to be warmed up. Will read through Tanya CRF site later.
