Good Morning fellow sugar parents ~O) ~O) Gobbles woke me up in a chipper mood with lots of morning kisses and purring. He ate a very hearty breakfast. I gave him some catnip and now he's play fighting with his sister and has a smug look on his face. Four P's are in place but we haven't seen the 5th P since 3 a.m. on 4/21, which means it has been 50 hours since. Said poo was borderline diarrhea and now it seems that he is constipated...?

How often is it normal for a kitty to leave buried treasure?I noticed that the civvies are lacking a BM as well...maybe the ReNew has caused all to be clogged up???

Morning Kat,

Pretty blue for Gobbles this morning. I'm so jealous of you guys that get the snuggles, cuddles and kisses in the morning... That doesn't happen here :roll:

Buried treasure? :lol: Zeus doesn't bury his, but it happens on a daily basis, sometimes more than once per day. Smokey generally buries hers once per day. Every cat is different, and I think it probably depends partially on what you're feeding as well. Did you try the canned pumpkin or the baby food squash? They seem to be magic food which can help with both diarrhea and constipation. I couldn't get Zeus to try either one, but Smokey loved both.

I wish Simon would bury his treasure! He likes just leaving it out in the open for all to see. He usually goes at least once a day, but I think every other day is no big deal. I usually sprinkle a little Miralax on his food when I notice he is getting constipated and also make sure I add water to his food. That usually does the trick. He doesn't like the pumpkin very much but I know that it is supposed to work well.

Morning Kat, sending Gobbles and civvies poo vines. Those are all good suggestions above. Hope you see some poo action today.

Probiotics can cause some kitties to get constipated. You can cut back on the amount.

Given that the diarrhea has been a constant issue for some time now, what is your vet saying?

Poor kitties. I hope it's not constipation. Furball loved the pumpkin when I mixed it into her food. I did it for a couple of days and it seemed to help her soft poo. I hope Gobbles is giving you a nice blue/green surf today.

I haven't talked to my vet since last week. His opinion is that he has a finicky belly and I was feeding him just too many different flavors of food and advised me to feed just one at a time. Gobbles' dis diarrhea did clear up after the food switch and one week on ReNew. But then I had to give him gravy a few times 3 & 4 days ago, which most likely caused the diarrhea the other day. At 1:30 p.m. today, he had a nice, healthy, firm poop! I cut back on the ReNew starting today (just 1/3 capsule per day vs. the 1/3 capsule twice per day that I was using) and he is eating only turkey wetfood. All 3 cats were constipated, so I have to believe it was just too much ReNew. I'll keep an eye on his LB. Thanks!

**Poo Fairy arrived at 1:30 p.m.** and left wonderful, firm, ample-sized buried treasures!!

Oh My Word!!! It's bad enough with one cat that is constipated.....but 3. You poor woman. I hope you have more than one LB if all 3 of them decide to vacate at the same time.

Seriously though Kat, I really do hope you are able to get them all back to normal BMs. Here's a visit from the poop fairy. Hopefully she can help.

Great news from the Poo Fairy! I swear, she works overtime in LL...someone give that fairy a raise!!!
