Morning, LL.

After at least a 24 hour run in the blues, she's in the yellows this morning. This may be a reaction from the sustained blues, or it may be because I gave them some food last night which had higher carbs than I realized (TJs Turkey and Giblets...)(Eeyore is high today, too...). Either way, it was a gorgeous blue run, and she's not terribly high this morning. I suspect she will come back into the blues at some point today; if so, I'll say it was the carbs. If not, I'll say it's a rebound. LOL.

Other than that, she's just about perfect. In a great mood, playing with one of the cat toys at the moment. She's used the box, ate well, and is just a happy girl.

Sounds great, Michele. I'm curious: How did she react to the higher card food? The past week or so, I have introduced FF foods with carbs as high as 8 (I had been sticking to 4 and under) and Basil is so excited at all the new flavors! So is Rosie. I am finding they will eat almost any flavor if they get variety. Even past rejected flavors are snarfed after a week without them.

Hope Esse gets her blues back really soon.

They love new flavors...anything "different" is good in their opinion. Including my coffee (Eeyore finds my coffee quite...tasty. Sigh). I was at TJs yesterday, and thought, meh, why not. But if it raises their numbers, that's why not, so I'll remember this for future. I just want to give some variety every once in a while, but if it spikes their numbers, we will have to try something else. No biggie, if it's the carbs...they'll clear, and she'll come down, and be blue again.

Esse is bringing it down, Sienne...nice recovery in a few hours' time. So I'm hoping she'll catch a wave and surf this a bit, you know?

Pat, it was tough. And emotional, because it was the first time together since our classmate's death. But we are done now, and hopefully, I've passed. I'll know by Monday, so...we'll see.
