Hello,

After 2 nights in Pink which maybe a bounce or result of skinning the 0.75U dose or a result of getting some of the insulin back out on 4/22 AM:confused::confused: I gave Ducia full 0.75 dose.

New injection site: mid/lower belly - either L or R /cycle.

I hope that was the right call.

Sign.. Flat yellow..again..:(

Wishing all happy and healthy day

Hi Tanya! I have missed your condo for a few days. It looks like Ducia is bouncing from hitting 46 the day before yesterday rather than being in pinks from skinning the dose. Bummer about some of the insulin ozzing out of her skin. But she did hit some blues that cycle so that was good.

Good luck with the new injection site. I gave the shots mainly on either side of the shoulder blades and a few times in the scruff but some vets say that the scruff doesn't have good absorption so I only shot there when I wanted the cycle to slow down. Not sure if it made a lot of difference.

Callie is getting her insulin in her tummy also. It's a patch that is hairless (you can see in the picture). I have no idea why. It started a few months before she was diagnosed. She won't let me inject her scruff. Hope it works well for you and Ducia.
