Happy appy, snuggly, spunky, feisty (again with morning fluid!), and anti-jinxes. We did have a weird "moment" last evening, though....for about 30 minutes or so, she looked like she felt like absolute crap. It was about an hour or so after her evening meds (cerenia, pepcid, benazepril - nothing different from what we've been doing for 3 years now). I thought for sure she was at least going to barf...she really kinda had me scared. But then whatever it was, it completely resolved without incident - no barf, no poop....nothing. So I wonder if maybe it was a gas bubble or something along those lines. It was odd. And she still is snuffly. I'm going to give it another day or two, and then call the vet. 6 weeks of Zeniquin had cleared it up; however, if the source is an abscessed tooth then I don't know what we can do other than pulse ABs to try and keep it at bay. Without removing the tooth, which isn't an option, it will just keep coming back. Big sigh...rock and a hard place....

My cold is actually still lingering a tad, too...2.5 weeks now. Don't know if I've ever had a cold on this scale before. I am about 95% over it, but the annoying cough is making me a little crazy. It is slowly, slowly improving.

It is cool and damp today, but DH and I are going to attempt some yard clean up. So much to do, both inside and out....

Prayers to all....

Amy

I'm glad what ever bothered Miss Trix resolved on it's own. Praying for no further innocents. Hope you can get outside for a bit.

Hmmmm, wish they could talk and tell us what is going on. Glad that she is okay and it was only 30 minutes of what ever was making her look distressed.

Hope your residual cough beats it soon. :bighug:

Trixie - beautiful numbers for a beautiful girl as usual!

Amy, the 'cold' you have is likely that new strain that takes literally 6-7 weeks for the cough to go away. It's running rampant everywhere. I've had it for almost months now and I'm still coughing. My problem is that I'm allergic to almost every antibiotic out there so Dr. is limited to stuff that doesn't work well. It really WILL go away!

HUGS!!!
