Stella's Condo
Good morning!
Everythinng is in its place for Stella this morning. Despite the slowly rising BGs over the past week or so, there has definitely been a significant healing in Stella. Her formerly bloated belly is gone(don't get me wrong...Stella could still lose a couple of pounds, but the intestinal bloat is gone) and Stella's poop is so much softer things have got to be better for her. Boo's have improved greatly too, they aren't as dry and brittle so I can't imagine how much easier it must be for the both of them in this daily function. They definitely needed more moisture and the new diet seems to be working.
Stella was up and meowing this morning. Her new routine is to wake before both Boo and I amd roam for her invisible prey before she wakes us with her noise. I guess she is building her appetite, or maybe in her mind she is gathering our daily meal.   Boo traditionally does the same thing at night, so they must be working in shifts.
We had thunderstorms throughout the day yesterday. Although I didn't go out, I was very happy I had taken the time to go get new tires for my car. I hated spending the money, but everyone warned me that I better have good tires because of the daily summer storms. Yesterday wasn't 'typical'. It was a pretty heavy rain. I heard a girl say to her mom as they ran from their car to inside for shelter, "Could it rain any harder?" The lightning is something I have to get used to with its huge bright burst of light along with the big thunderous clap. One was so strong it sent off car alarms! That made Stella and Boo run for cover

Thanks for everyone who stopped in last night! You make our day. Your support is wonderful. Have a great day!
