I gave Mooch a bit too much of the EVO dry last night which I'm still having to use to supplement him not eating much wet. He does seem to like the Whiskas Savory Pate and ate about half a tub. I gave him a second one today so we'll see how he eats during the day.

Re: 4/22 Mooch AMPS 225

for having eaten high carb crunchies last night, this isn't too bad of an amps today. hope he decides something's worth eating in the canned lc category! silly kitters - don't know what's good for them.

I should be able to do some spot checks over the next few days. What does PM stand for as I couldn't find that in the slang dictionary?

Mr picky didn't eat any of the Whiskas except for the gravy so I had to give him a few EVO kibbles as he was so hungry, poor guy. I'm trying Trader Joe's turkey and giblets food this evening. All my other cats get this as their standard wet food so it would be great if Mooch liked this as it'll make it easier to get Mooch out into the main living area. I can't find it on any of the food charts so I'm not sure what the carb level is. It does have rice flour in the ingreditnts list but its fairly far down the list so hopefuly not too bad. I sent a request to Trader Joe's support email asking if there was a dry matter nutritional analysis but I haven't heard anything back yet.

Mooch's gums seem less red/inflamed than they were when I got him and his fur is less greasy which is probably a benefit of lower blood sugars. Mooch is still being really sweet and has been very tolerant while I've been teasing the mats out of his fur and has even helped by grooming some of the mats out himself. He's almost mat free now with just a few small ones left that Mooch's grooming and me brushing him should be able to take care of.

Mooch sends smooches to everyone!

A few of my dry food junkies has always refused canned food until I try to mix in the dry knibble with the canned to feed them. Then try slowly decrease on the dry to have them on more canned.
PM means the time of your second insulin shot. Say, if your first shot is at 9am, PM will be 9pm; your second shooting time. Hope that helps!

Thanks for confirming. I have been doing AM and PM tests but I've been posting fairly late. Initially Mooch would eat at least some wet if I mixed in some kibbles but recently he's been passing up the "tainted" kibbles. He's probably eating about half the wet food he needs and I've been giving him small amounts of kibble to make sure he gets enough calories. If the Trader Joes food doesn't work I'll try your method. Of course all my other cats love all kinds of canned food!
