Good morning world from PINK TOAD alley! Yesterday

THIS set of tests are, unfortunately, right - used my Relion meter for these. I don't think we were really this high yesterday - THIS is an UGLY bounce. He had such a beautiful blue run yesterday - wish they were a LOT closer together! Another increase is about due....

Another little giggle to share today. I give Harley his morning pills with the last bite of my morning omelet along with a 'Beggin Strip' big bacon piece. I ran out of bacon yesterday so this morning he got a 'regular' treat. He took it, spit it back out, stared at it...stared at ME...sniffed it...stared at ME again....Hey! Where's my BACON? He did finally eat it.

I got my last wall painted yesterday! There's been a china hutch and refrig sitting in that corner - got them moved and got paint done. It's SO nice to have light colored walls instead of DARK DARK walnut paneling everywhere. Makes this little place feel bigger.

Thought I'd find something in my photobucket today! This is one of the many babies we found new homes for - this is 'Daisy'. She was dumped out here but is a very people oriented baby so quickly found us making herself right at home as soon as she showed up. She looks a lot like our HarleyBoy. It only took about a week to find her a new furever home! She was about a year old or so in this picture. Her 'new' family thinks she's the best thing since sliced bread! Just LOVE when they happen so quickly and easily!!!

Pink has it's own special brand of ugly, all by itself. But when you put it next to those lovely blues, ewww! Bounces don't last furever, KT will be surfing blue again in no time. Hugs to you and yours.

When do you get the test results back for Harley? I have been thinking about him-- It sure seems encouraging that the antibiotics are helping!

I just heard the most glorious sound! Harley BARKED! It was gruff and grumbly but HE BARKED!!! He hasn't been able to bark in WEEKS!!!! I never dreamed a dog bark would be this thrilling!!!! SOMETHING is happening with something!

We don't usually let our dogs bark even when the neighborhood pack is being stOOpid - I taught them the no bark command as "mind your manners" but in this case

He's not supposed to bark at Scruffy either but he was...oh naughty boy..... :-D
 
We close out our night so differently than last Sunday night when asking for prayers - we thought we were going to be helping Harley cross Monday. I'm just on CLOUD 9 about now! Not only did Harley BARK, he had to show me he could now dance on his back legs waiting for his treat! A week ago he couldn't WALK! The only difference is that I started him on antibiotics.

Even Sir KT is getting in on the action handing me a PMS (teeheehee) of 205 after a +300 AMPS and high 200's all day! Leaving out plenty of food as I just know he'll run a nice blue cycle and I will sleep thru it.

HUGS to all - THANKS TO EVERYONE FOR SHARING OUR DANCE! This is just indescribable.
