WCR well not only was his shot delayed and reduced he continued to dive again something I am no longer comfortable with and just do not tolerate he has become very very difficult to get up once he goes down I have to really pump the karo induced food into him and still watch him for at least 2 hours and this with him having dry food on board again yes the dreaded crack do I dare say it maybe I should not since but he has had access to small amounts now for 2 months and it does not affect his numbers at all. If anything I am trying to use it to try to keep him more even figure we all have different cats and gotta do our own thing.... anyway he is doing OK now all P's in place just hoping he stays up if he gets below 50 he sounds terrible and I prefer him around 90-100. Hope everyone is doing well today in LL sending healing vines to anyone in need

Lisa,
Haven't visited your condo for awhile, so I'm not up on what Do Lou is doing. I'm not equipped to give advice, since I'm a fairly newbie like you. Just wanted to say hi and give support. Those low numbers are beautiful looking to me, but I'm sure it's scary as well...the food thing is very tricky, too.

Good luck!

well you would think maybe after all this time I would be comfortable with low numbers and at one time I was but not anymore now when he drops he drops like a rock and has become so hard to get to rise so this is why I have become much more of a worrier over any number under 50. There was a time when mc would bring him up just poof but it just stopped working. So with that being said ECID and I just am trying to manage him the best I can and I just do not want numbers under 50 really do not want them under 75 anymore so just have to see how things go with him.

You have to do what you think is best and what you are comfortable handling. I'm sure Do Lou is receiving the best care and attention from you.

Have a wonderful day, I hope Do Lou's numbers stay at a nice safe range for you.

You know Do Lou best so what you feel comfortable with is the right thing for Do Lou. I can certainly understand why you want to keep his numbers a little higher since he acts so different when he gets around 50 or below. Plus, if it is harder to get him to come up, that is not good.

You are doing a wonderful job!

Hi Lisa, I agree that you have to do what is best for Do Lou in keeping his numbers up. I'm also one who is not comfortable with low numbers, as Maggie gets so lethargic. Have a nice evening and hope no dives from
Do Lou!

Hi Lisa, I agree, you've been at this long enough to know what's best for DL. That 46 would be really scary to me, even tho Checks is pretty carb sensitive, and I can get him back up easily.
Have a good evening.

Hi lisa .. I know how hard it can be to get our kitties up sometimes .. you have to do what you have to do .. 75 is not a bad number for do lou to be at ... definitely under the renal thresh hold number .. have a great weekend guys!

Lisa: you gotta do what you gotta do. You know DL better than anyone and you have alot going on, too. You're doing fantastic!!
