uh..LOL...that doesn't look like a Photoshop picture...sorry to be giggling but Blackie looks less than thrilled to be in his party hat! LMHO!!! He is such a handsome boy!! I hope he has a very Happy 17th birthday today! Can we come over for a surprise party? My two just LOVE parties...they love birthday parties a lot! They are a party waiting to happen! They are coming right over....just wrapping up some catnip now and I am letting Shadow bring the camera!

Blackie is getting pokes and food for his BDay, LOL. I gave him some salmon cat food this morning and I rarely feed him fish. I think that's what caused the pukus. Oh, and he also got some roasted chicken breast last night as an early Bday present.

Blackie says thanks for the good wishes. Come on over - he'll share his salmon.

You'd think it was my birthday and Blackie is giving me a green number. :mrgreen:

I made the hat out of wrapping paper. He kept throwing it off and I kept snapping pics, so yeah - his expression is kind of funny.

I really find it hard to believe that he's 17. For the last few months, I keep going back in my memory to make sure I have the year right. And yep, we found him as a kitten in 1993.

Blackie says "Thanks for the tuna cakes - Yum! And thanks for the red convertible too, but I don't think my mom will let me drive. And my feet won't reach the gas pedal."

Hey Blackie - you are a few days older than Tuscany! Happy Birthday. I hope you enjoy many more. That cake from Sienne has my mouth watering. Looks yummy.

Back when Tuscany was younger - and not diabetic - I used to make birthday cakes for the cats. I would take a can of tuna, add whipped cream to the top and sprinkle fresh cat nip on it! Somewhere in the old photo files I also have birthday candles on these cakes when I gave them to the cats. I would allow the cat to eat as much of the "cake" they wanted! Hope your Bean gave you something yummy today - even if it was a forbidden yummy!

All of those cakes sound yummy to Blackie. Wow, Joyce. Your kitties got real tuna cakes! Blackie will be getting some more of that roasted chicken breast tonight. He loves it. No sweets on the lo carb diet. :mrgreen:

He went for a walk with DH & the droolers around the house to the garage. And he got another 1 Tb lc at +4. I'm going to stay up for another hour and see how he does.
 
Happy birthday, Blackie!! It looks like you had a wonderful day: roast chicken, a birthday party (Buzz apologizes for not making it; she was home getting her shot), AND great #s. The party hat picture made me smile. I don't know why I love photos of Blackie so much, but he just always looks so darn cute, even when he's not happy with the things he has to wear. ;-)

I can't believe how well he's doing!! I guess he and Buzz must have talked about the you-know-what and decided they'd better shape up. I hope he keeps it up and gives you lots more green. :mrgreen:
