Took her back up to .25u last night since she just didn't seem to be able to clear the last bounce, plus as of this morning I'm changing the times that everyone gets fed on the off chance I get a call back this week that I got the part-time job that I interviewed for last Friday. Instead of feeding at 7am, 1pm, 7pm and then 10pm...I'm switching up so that the am and pm feeding schedule matches..so now they are going to be fed 7am,10am, 7pm, & 10pm to see if that stabilizes both of Autumn's cycles.

Good luck on the callback and on the feeding schedule change - I imagine they'll be thrilled this morning but not so happy when it gets to be 1 pm, lol....cats seem to have really short memories as to when they were last fed, lol. I'll be interested in seeing if it makes a difference as I could always start using my autofeeder and get my own a bit more scheduled.

Now see, I'm thinking that 192 is a fine number....but then I remembered your girl is really close to getting OTJ. So come on Autumn - get down where you belong........in the green stuff. And put on some clothes- you got poor Lucian all excited this morning.

Holy Toledo it is Monday here for sure....Not sure who started it but just had a knock down drag out cat fight when I went to break it up there were at least 3 of the girls involved and surprisingly not the Sh*tten he was hiding on top of the fridge. I suspect it was Hazy/Moochie that was the antagonist as once it was broken up the others went back to acting like nothing happened however Hazy charged me, I tried catching her with a towel...epic fail so finally had to get DH's leather riding gloves, corner her in a lamp stand where she promptly bite through the leather gloves. Carried her still attached to the webbing between my thumb and fingers to the crate got her detached from my hand and in the crate and locked in, then she charged the bars of the crate. Now she is looking at me like I'm the meanest momma in the world.

Welcome to Monday! Is 9am too soon to start drinking? lol Oh well injury washed, neosporined and bandaged, such is life with cats, never a dull moment. Guess it could have been a lot worse I got out of it with only 2 puncture wounds and doesn't seem any of the other combatants are injuried.

Now see, that's why as a rule I have never had female cats around....I know they're spayed but I swear they still get hormonal. I had a lovely longhaired Miss Kitty once - she was a rescue from my workplace. Even though she was declawed, she terrorized my poor male cats and used to sneak out the door whenever possible to go catting around who knows where....and just about the time I'd decide she was gone for good, she'd show up on the front porch swishing her tail all innocent like "how come you made me stay outside".
Anyhow - a male neighbor of mine fell in love with her (that tail swish I think) and adopted her from me. About six months later he was going on vacation and I agreed to go over and feed her/clean the box. The first time I went over I called for her but didn't see her at all - figured she was napping. The second time I was changing out the food and water and she came out of nowhere and attacked me. Bit me pretty good too - like you I had her hanging off my hand for a minute - ouch.

Jez came to visit while my son was out of town and then just refused to leave.......that's the only reason there's a girl in the household....and even after being together for more than five years there's still fur flying on occasion....but I know better than to try to break it up myself - I just toss a shoe in the vicinity.

Well if I take the meter variance into consideration she is basically holding steady today and could actually be surfing the blues. Now that onset should have happened about an hour ago it will be interesting to see if she will start heading down like a good girl and find her way to the green grass and hang out there. Considering we are having thunder right now that is shaking the windows and after the dust up with the other girls this morning that had everyone running for cover while mom was trying to capture Hazy ...I'm pretty darn happy with her numbers. No major food spikes, no spikes from the storm and she didn't even wake up from her nap when I just tested her. All in all it is a good day tater. :-D

And I'm very surprised no one is demanding lunch right now since I switched up their dining schedule. So I think I'm going to take advantage of the peace and quiet and go take a nap...Didn't sleep well last night as it was ungodly hot in the house because I roasted a chicken late in the evening so that it would be ready to go today for DH's lunch. And now with the rain it is just good napping weather, which the entire fur gang seems to agree with me.

I love napping to the sound of rain. Sneakers would find me and curl up next to me and purr her little motor off. Those were some good o;' days. :-D

Enjoy.

So far front loading her looks to be working and giving her a much smoother, flatter Levemir curve. Now if this new pattern just continues and she can stay surfing those lovely low yellows, blues and greens I think she is going to stand a good chance of ending her stickers altogether. Just have to find what is going to work to allow her to stay in those healing numbers until her little sputtering pancreas can quit sputtering and kick all the way in.

And I was very surprised that no one complained about no 1pm feeding I figured at the very least the little piggy ones would have been howling but everyone seemed to take to the change in food delivery without complaints. Just when I think I know my furry kids they surprise me.

Yeah - to me that's why cats are so much more interesting than dogs - they actually seem to have minds of their own rather than just doing what they think will please us....

Just about the same as her +3 this morning so looks like the front loading is still keeping her nice and even...again if I figure in the meter variance I can pretend that she is still crusin the blues. At least this is the first time in a long time that her am and pm cycles look about the same. Gonna give her a few days to settle again on the .25u and see where she heads from here, if she keeps coming down then I'll leave the dose alone, if she stays in this range then I'll inch her up a little until we are crusin the greens and blues instead of the blues and yellows...But right now she is nicely regulated and I'm a happy momma just to have such a nice steady two cycles from her...no steep dives and climbs...easy as she goes.

Makes sense to me....it is nice to see her so consistent and I imagine its probably better for her healing than the dive and bounce....
