Looks like he cleared this morning's trip to RBC! Hope he doesn't bounce too high, Caryl. Hope you guys have a great day.

Well, it sure looks that way so far doesn't it Kelly, but he's acting like he's SOMEWHERE ELSE  I don't think his bounce last night did him any good because he woke up like Mr. Growly Pants. Growling at Jackson like crazy and when getting his test before his breffis he was whining and yelling at me(if he coulda), and taking his paw and trying to push my hand away. I had to finally regroup and say to myself "wait, you have control here" ! I think for a while, Alex was doing the same exact thing. (of course it didn't help that the whole time Jackson was circling like a plane taxiing the runway-his new 'thing'. he walks in the kitchen through one door, walks past Alex, walks out the other door through the dining room and around through the living room and in the other door again. It was a battle of wills for about 5 minutes and finally he heard me "Alex if we get this done, you'll have a nice big breffis" Boing!

Alex had 1 1/2 bowls of breffis which he inhaled and he is now a new man. All p's are in order and both boys are taking their after breffis nap. Oops, sorry..Jackson just dropped a catnip newspaper on my lap. I guess it's time to play.

Morning everyone! :-D

Re: 4/22 Alex AMBB 153 Growly Pants!!!

I get growly when I'm hungry too

Isn't it tons of fun to try to test with all that supervision and assistance? I can't test Tugger without both girls hovering almost on top of us, if we're in the kitchen they hang out on the table above my head and watch from above, Echo will be gnawing on the testing basket, Tux will be trying to run his cheek on my hand while I've got the lancet at the ready and the dog will be standing in the doorway wagging his big tail and banging it on the door frame.

Re: 4/22 Alex AMBB 153 Growly Pants!!!

tee hee growly pants...well Sydney almost made me miss the train - she knows the morning the routine and knew it was inhaler time - she runs away and hides under the futon. I'm smart, I get the treat ready and wait her out. She comes out and sees me, then runs under again. I look at the time and go Sydney, get your butt out here now! Nope, no go - I move the futon and she flies out. I close the door - escape 1 gone.

She runs around the house and under the bed. I push the bed and she runs out and around the kitchen. As she's trying to go into the bedroom again, I catch her and she yells.

I'm bigger, I always win! She got her inhaler and treats and I just made it to the train on time....phew.

tomorrow, I close all doors and won't give her any escape routes.

hey morn chickie......

Tess's distraction isn't other fur babies it's DH. He comes in and watches while i'm trying to test. She wants to go to him because he fixes breffis. NO FAIR! I have to poke and shoot and he gets to be the hero that provides FUDS! :?

That isn't fair! But deep down inside I'm sure she know who's REALLY taking care of her .... Well, maybe she knows

Re: 4/22 Alex AMPS 392 UGLY BOUNCE

Oh my! Come back down from there, right now! Not too fast, but start making your way back down into prettier colors.

Oh, I forgot him, hubby is a new part of the distraction. He's always on the move and he is always in a freakin' hurry. Which generally scatters cats. Because he doesn't watch them when he's hyper-focus-guy and they've been stepped on or run into too many times. So he'll come charging into the kitchen or arrive home from somewhere and come crashing through the front door (he always makes a very loud entrance, opens the door hard like he's trying to rip the knob off or something and all but throwing it into the wall ohmygod_smile ) I do not know why he's always in such a rush, but it's exhausting for me to watch. To put the two of us into critter terms... I'm a cat in a sunbeam and he's the energizer bunny... on speed.  I'm seriously considering replacing his coffee ~O) with deaf. He can't taste the difference anyway. I'm weighing that with the fact that he's accomplished a heck of a lot in the short time he's been home even if he is driving me bonkers ;-) I still have a bit over a week before he goes back to work... slow him down or maintain the accomplishments... it's a hard choice. ;-)

I'm just thankful this is Tugger I'm dealing with. He's a pretty laid back dude, not much really freaks him out. He doesn't care for strangers but it doesn't stress him, he just stays in his (ahem, our) bedroom. He might twitch if there's something sudden (like hubby or dog) but the other cats hovering doesn't seem to bug him. As long as I do my part and keep Echo off his tail while he's being a cooperative boy and letting me poke his ear ;-) Most of the others would require more convincing that it was "good for them" to get poked and stuck and stalked

I'm bigger than Kitty, but that hardly means I always win! DH also likes to pet Kitty while I'm trying to test -- have to tell him not to. We have to turn the TV off while Kitty is eating too! Too many distracting noises. This cat rules our house, no question.

Anyway, here's hoping Alex comes down quickly, Caryl.

I DO usually win, but I get the feeling it's ONLY because A&J let me
I hope he comes down soon too.

How's the Buzz man? (aka my main kitty crush)♥
