punkin's romping upstairs with trixie today, apparently!

yes, i did see that video, amy. wasn't that hysterical! we've joked that if anya went outside we might have the same thing here. the cats sleep downstairs and when i open the door to the stairs every morning she's left a pile of things on the top stair. and we have such a mess from our remodeling, my parents' & college kids' stuff here in boxes, that she has a great source for finding these treasures. little magpie!

Hi guys .. Looks like a lot of yellow for trixie today .. sometimes these yellow cycles can lead to something good .. guess you'll just have to be "patient" :lol: Have a great day guys!

Looks like Trixie is coming down slowly today--Hope you see good numbers by tonite!
Cats can get into so much trouble!! Moonie shredded the paper in a shoe box, with the shoes in it, that I was planning to return!! Now what? Wrap them in tissue paper?? Think the shoe store will know??

I spend a good portion of my days trying to out-think the cats...somehow, though, they always come out ahead :lol: !

I just want to be sure we're on the right track with keeping Trixie safe. I'm at work, so hubby, Mark, has pokey/feed/pokey/feed duties.

I just told him to give her 2 tsp of FF gravy and test again at +1.5 (Which is 7:15 EST). Does that sound good, or should he be doing something more than that? I'll be heading home from work at about 8:15ish.

After last week, I'm fairly confident on what to do, but I don't want to make any mistakes.

Little more FF at +1.5

Last week, we switched to a little LC with a little FF gravy after the first round of FF. Should we do that this week, or stick with the FF?

Hmm. I think you are okay with the LC. The key is not to feed too much. If Trixie goes lower, you want her still to eat. Post again at +2!

80 is a great number - you don't have to treat it. just keep an eye on trixie because it's still early in the cycle. that's a normal undiabetic cat range. woo-hoo for healing numbers!

She's doin' me proud tonight! We gave her little ears a break and skipped +3.5, but since she came down a bit, will check again at +4.5.
