Good Morning LL! Tess decided to take half her wardrobe along last night. :YMSIGH: Paws crossed for a short bounce. So at least it takes the pressure off for tonight. I doubt is she will be too low by PMPS (anti-jinx) and I have to leave for a couple of hours right after. Today is my Mom's 100th. birthday and the party is tonight. I

WCR All 5 Ps and clean plate club membership maintained. A little BTB for me.

I have to tell you...many times during the day I visit Tess' condo just to look at her picture. She always makes me smile. :-D

Tess..did you need a break sweetheart? Just make it a quick one!! I finally got a chance to look at her album in the Photo Gallery....she is so beautiful!!!

HAPPY 100th BIRTHDAY MOM!!!! Wow...that is amazing and wonderful, Ann!! I'm so glad Tess is giving you a pass to get out and enjoy the evening.

Tess is taking her time coming down, but she is coming down. I stocked up on Wellness last weekend (a loca pet store actually had it on sale!) Tess wasn't crazy about having the Beef& Chicken all day yesterday, very happy today to have her chicken back today.

This should be a nice quiet day. We;ve gotten a little late season rain I really haope the rain clears off though so DS and Mom can go out this afternoon, plans are for the putting green! :-D I really need to take advantage of it and torch some weeds that have gotten out of hand, last chance. I won't get to many condos today, Sorry.

I have to admit: Tess's picture always make me smile too.

Thanks for the info on the carb content of food, over in Joe's condo! I'm not sure how to deal with Kitty's food allergies. I end up just feeding him what doesn't make him sick. :roll: With lots of chicken treats. :lol:

OK now i am getting a little nervous. I had thought tah tis would be a much slower slide down. At this rate she will be well into the greens by arty time. I have to leave immediately after her shot and can't get back before +2:30. nailbite_smile I was planning to set the timed feeder up next to her on the couch so she has to notice it, but I can't count on her eating when we are gone.

I hate the thought of derailing her, but my options are
  • --over-carb her at +1
    --BCS
    -- Pack her up and take her along, which will stress her out too!

Any advice?

Did you mention which one would stress YOU out? :-D But seriously, if she is at all willing to travel, I'd probably pack her up.

Gosh, at .1, I wonder how much you have to worry about her going too low.

Why don't you see how she's doing in an hour? If she comes up a bit, you'll feel better.

Well, Tess seems to be surfing . As long as she isn't still dropping at preshot I think we are going to be fine. If she is surfing or rising at preshot there usually isn't a rise until about +4, but I was thinking she was going to take a lot longer to get down this far. Preshot is in about 45minutes , back then.

Hi - looks like I missed all the fun today.... darn kid sitting duties!! :lol:

I would think that if she's surfing a decent number, and you will be back by +2.5 you would be OK? If it's not far, and you're really worried I'd pack her up. i dunno... all of the options are OK. It just comes down to what makes you feel more safe. I usually over carb - hate it, but know Mannie will do well with that option when I do. Good luck!

Still in the surfing range, I've decided to leave her home and just add a couple of drops of syrup to her first meal.

I have the auto feeder all filled already and she just went over and sniffed it, Paws crossed that she will remember till later.

We're back. Tess did eat the +2 mea; but not the +3, but she is safe. I'm glad i put the syrup in the first dinner. I guess she was waiting for us to come home for third dinner, because it didn't last long after I put it in front of her. We got home an hour after I was hoping to, but mom was still going strong at 9:00 pm. we were the party poopers and among the forst to leave, although we were the first to arrive, everyone else was late, surprise.

Now i just need to stay up for another couple of hours to test. Oh boy, lots of good wine, and a great dinner cooked by DH.

Sounds like fun - and GO MOM! and yeah on those that arrive late....

and I'm glad you came home to a safe Tess. It's always so nerve wracking! Happens every time I go hike, and am gone most of the day. One tries not to worry, but.... Cute that she waited for her +3 dinner. What a sweetie.
