What meter are you using? Did you change and have you tested with the other one too?
Strange for Tess to be so yellow for so many hours. Is she acting okay? Sometimes higher numbers can mean there is an infection brewing...or a hairball...but how is she eating and acting? LB action?

Tess is acting fine, polished off breffis in record time and now wants to be brushed and play. 5Ps in place, don't know about a hairball. She seldom has them because she gets brushed so often, she loves it.
The Meter is a Maxima Ast, new order of strips on 4/19 but the same vial that gave the greens the that night. I can doulbe check w/ OTU mini.

Hmm. This is a mystery since Tess has previously done well on this tiny dose. I'll try to get more eyes to check this out.

How old is the insulin? Sometimes pooped out insulin can still work but not consistently.

I'm thinking along the same lines as D.These kind of wonky numbers have happened with Gabby when her insulin was pooping out -- and it may be sooner than 28 days. Try a new cartridge and see if things straighten out in a day or two. If it's the insulin, it will need to fill the shed with the good stuff.

Today would be the 28th day. I wondered about that. It looks fine and has never been left out. Just shot, though, should I try a new cartridge tonight? Will do a check w/ both meters at +2., and will hold off on second breffis until then.

Down a little to 245 so the insulin is doing something. The OYUmini gave a reading of 294. Not panicking as long as she is starting to come down. I'll use a new cartridge tonight though.

As long as all other things seem fine with Tess, a new cartridge is the way to go tonight! Good!!

Hi, Ann & Tess!! I am confused here too.. But love the possibilities of a new cartridge, how exciting!! Tess has been doing fabulous & if all seems Ok with her.. Then I have no doubt she will be back to her normal, healthy BGs very soon!! Hang in there.. It is tough to see those #s climb!! Cheering you both on… always!! :mrgreen:

OK, down again to 209 at +4. I hope the trend continues, I'll test again at +6 if, I can stand the suspense. Come on Blue Numbers!
Tess has been very cuddly this AM, but it is a cold rainy day. all snacks have been eaten with gusto much better appetite than usual quite frankly. Now she is very playful again.

Still yellow at PMPS~219, but held to nearly the same as +9.
WE have the real party for my mom tonight and have to leave right after the shot, I hope I can sneak back for a +2. Using the new cartridge, .1u. Leaving extra food out too.
Google seems to be hung up, I'll update SS when I get home.

In the door test at+3:40 was 164.
there was a little food left in one dish, but she had gotten up and eaten. I don't know how close to the test time her snack was though. Gave her another snack after the test. Will test again at +6.
