Stella's Condo

Good morning!

Well, I gave Stella her morning injection and went back to bed. Now I know why. I just posted only Stella's condo and now I am in 'edit' writing it...

Stella is great. All Ps are in place. It looks like she is going to have another blue day, so we all know what that means. It is such a bummer that the last kitty sitter was so terrible. It really made Stella's amazing progress come to a halt and now go backwards. It also cost me a lot of money I don't have to spend. I usually leave the girls on their own. They sleep so much, and don't really enjoy the company of others so they do great on my short trips. I just really wanted to try to give Stella every bit of what I could offer to assist her in her healing and it all just backfired. Frustrating is not nearly the right word.

Well, on a good note, I have spent the last two days trying to unpack some of my final boxes. What you might say? Yes, since I travel so much and have had to go back and forth to CA for my tooth I had not had time to do the final move in. I still have some work to do, but I cannot exprees how nice it is to have laundered the fluffy pillows and covers for my bed. Aso installing simple things like broom holders, and paper towel holders. It really is the little things in life isn't it? I still have to recruit someone to assist me in hanging my book shelf, because that is all the boxes I have left (books). Cross your fingers I find someone because I have been looking for that someone for as long as I have been looking for the kitty sitter! Ahhh....

Morning Mary, I hope soon you can get Stella back on track. It's a nice drop at the +2 already, so paws crossed she has a nice slide today. That is a shame with both cat sitters that things did not work out as planned. Give Stella some scritches from us. Have a nice day.

Morning Mary,

Thank you and Stella for your "hello!"

We (hubby and I) were planning a 2 week driving vacation up to see family in NJ in October. Now, I am not so sure we will do that. Finding someone you can trust with your sugarkitty seems pretty hard. We have months to find someone, and no decision has to be made yet. Plus, she is still fairly new diagnossed, and pretty unregulated.

Hope you find that special someone or someones to help you out!

I can understand your frustration with petsitters. DH and I haven't gone on hardly any vacations together in 2 years because of Simon's care. We go places separately, but that is not ideal.

I wish you lived closer to Atlanta. DH is excellent at putting anything together and I'm sure he would be more than happy to put your bookshelf together. :-D

Hello Cleo & Jane. One thing I know for sure, is you can't stop your life...you just have to make the best decisions you can. See if one of the vet techs at your office can assist. They may not be the 'best' substitute, but you kitty will get insulin which is so very important. ;-) Good luck!

Georgia and Simon I wish I lived close to you to! I would definitely take you up on your husband's help with the book shelf.   Thanks for making me laugh today!

I hope Stella keeps sliding down today. Hopefully she'll get back on track soon and be giving you those pretty greens.
