Good Morning, Everyone,

It looks like the Board is having problems. I couldn't get on at all late last night and finally gave up!. This morning it is very slow. We had a lovely Easter. The Torta di spinachi was delicious (yes, Ann, that is the recipe that I found long ago; nice to see it made the collection of NY Times recipes). I used ham (left over from New Year's Eve; frozen). It was really good. But in the past I have always made it with smoked pork chops, as the recipe calls for.

Rusty was the perfect host at our dinner party. He got a little anxious when we missed his +9 routine, but enjoyed sitting with us next to the table, and his PMPS was an acceptable 103. We are starting out a little higher today than on recent days, but I think that eating nighttime food close to AMPS may have caused a spike (or maybe it's a bounce?).

Edward is learning his new iMac. It sure is a beautiful machine. I have to do some setting up of things for him, and he has to learn all of the Mac programs and techniques (after using a PC since the mid '80s), but he is doing very well on only a few hours of trial and error.

Thanks to everyone who visited us yesterday. I'll be back later to visit condos.

Hi again,

Rusty is having a nice, blue rest day today. We'll see if he can hold the latest reducie.

I had problems with the Board again today--very slow. All my other computer things worked normally, so I think it must have been the Board. Anyway, we had a good day. Edward learned a lot about his new iMac (and I learned a lot about Maverics, the latest manifestation of the OS X operating system.). Sometime this week I am going to try to set up an in-house network and transfer his important documents from his PC to the Mac. We had a nice long walk and were surprised to see that the CHAIR has fallen into the water. It must have happened on Easter Sunday, because it was standing tall on Saturday. All of a sudden, everything is open water again here! Hopefully we'll be able to go canoeing later this week. The rivers are high and fast, however.

Going to try again to visit condos. Hope all is well,

Back to the lagoon, Rusty, it needs its Meister. I'm sure Edward will adapt very quickly to the Mac. I'm going to be doing the same thing this summer but I'm getting Anne's old one when she get the beautiful new machine. Oh well, lots cheaper for me and I only need it for quicken. Drat on the CHAIR! Since my ticket is for April 26, Tillie's birthday. :lol: :lol: Maybe next year. At least you have plenty of lakes for paddling. :-D :-D

Yay for the delicious meal! (I notice that you never did invite me over for dinner. Hmmphhh!) And a well-behaved kitty to boot. I would say that was a pretty good day, indeed.

I'm waiting to see how the adjustment to the Mac goes, so keep us updated on it. I've been threatening to get one for a while now, but the switch from a PC scares me. nailbite_smile

Rusty, we like the blues, but we also like greens. How about a gentle swim in the lagoon tonight?

Nice steady blues today - every cat deserves a rest day. :-D

The board was slow most of the day today. Good luck with the PC conversion. I switched from PC laptop to Mac laptop a couple years ago when the PC screen driver died. The nice thing about a Mac is you can always run Parallels for PC software. I wasn't sure how the transition would go so I got Parallels just in case. I hardly ever used it. When I upgrade to Mavericks I'm not even gonna bother with upgrading the PC environment.

What day did you pick for the chair? Yeah for paddling soon!
 
Ah, the chair. I picked April 29th and Edward picked May 3rd. Liz came the closest: she picked Tillie's birthday, April 26th.

Nice day for Rusty, and a late night dip in the lagoon. Are you keeping Neko company, Rusty? Too bad you weren't there today with Cinco. He needed someone to throw him a rope! You surf safely all night, okay?
