I am so sad to have to write this but I lost my best friend yesterday. It was so hard watching her so very sick, I loved her so much. I have had many many cats and dogs but this is by far the hardest loss. She was a special sweet girl who I will never forget.

I wanted to thank everyone that has taken the time to help me in our diabetic journey. Without this forum I would have been completely lost. Special thanks and love to @tiffmaxee and @Critter Mom and @Bandit's Mom.

I believe there is an organization affiliated with this forum for pet owners in need. I would love to donate my supples. How can I get in touch for an address?

Sally, I am so sad and a little shocked. I’ve looked at your ss from time to time and thought she looked pretty good. Obviously fd was controlled. It is so hard to lose any of our fur babies but the heart ones like Lily are especially difficult. She will always be with you in spirit. Cherish the happy memories. She knows how much she was loved. :bighug::bighug::bighug::rb_icon: Lily will be in my heart as well.

Thanks Elise. The vet thinks she had an infection and it just destroyed her liver. It happened so fast and she was so sick. I just miss her so much and can’t stop crying.

Sally, I am so very sorry you lost your beautiful Lilly. It hurts so much, especially when loving so thoroughly, and then losing her before old age sets in - it always feels wrong. Lilly was well loved and I believe she would want you to be soothed and taking good care of yourself. I pray your tears are cleansing. Your Lilly is so beautiful. I'm newer here and never followed Lily's journey but you have my deepest sympathies, that infection just came in and ended her life so quickly it is horrible and I am so sorry to see it. Fly high sweet Lily

Sally, I'm relatively new to FDMB but I've been here long enough to know the height, breadth and depth of care, love and support that we all have for these kitties. I'm so sorry for your loss. :bighug::bighug:Godspeed little Lily. :bighug::bighug:
 
Sally, I am so saddened to read this news about your beautiful Lily, your best friend. You lost her much too soon. I am so very very sorry. My heart goes out to you because I know how much this hurts. What a tremendous loss for you. You will be in my thoughts.
