I can't decide if I like those better than the Easter Egg ones from yesterday.... so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and Double shot espressos, with beans from deep within the mountain slopes of Africa, AND.... for all my Mocha fans: a VENTI Quad cherry infused white mocha/mocha blend with white chocolate chips melted within, topped with a cherry whip garnished with candied cherry sprinkles and white chocolate curls. SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of cheery cherry and chocolate swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with crystallized cheery cherries and chocolate drizzle.... I hope everyone had a great weekend, and a good Easter yesterday. It was a great day for me yesterday. The weekend has been more than busy, what with the normal Caturday errands and chores, followed by a family BBQ that night, and then an Easter brunch on Sunday. Five days of nonstop go go go! By the time Sunday night rolled arounf I was toast, burnt toast.  I was grateful to be able to get a few walks in amongst all that chaos. They sure did help in jump starting the engines. :-D Here's what I wrote last night about the day: "Hi everyone! I hope you all have had a great Easter. Ours was fun, relaxing, and a great time for all of us. What a nice family oriented day. Weather here was actually kinda nice. We have sunny skies this afternoon, we reached 63, and I am glad the incoming rains have held off some. We are still looking at a rainy week, with temps dropping back down to the mid 50's. But... today was great! It really was a very nice day here. I went for an early morning walk, just the woods and the 'hood, to try and get the internal engines revved up. It was nice out, chilly, but nice. There were so many flowers in full bloom here now, it is actually quite pretty out. I felt so much more with it once I got home. ;-) Time with the family was fun. Nicholas loved the egg hunt, That was a hoot. I'd filled 24 of those plastic Easter eggs with all sorts of stuff, he had a blast trying to find them all. Easter Brunch was great, Anthony cooked the bulk of it. It was really good! I swear he makes the best Eggs Benedict ever! We spent the rest of the time watching the Mariners, and then a golf tourney. It really was a nice laid back afternoon with the troops. YaHOO! Loved the day. Now to sit back some and watch what should be a very nice sunset."

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!   What to say about the kitties.... They have been good kitties, and even Lola! Well sorta on Lola... Lola will always be Lola. Lola was once again my helper in the kitchen - loves to be involved with whatever is going on. Bug was fun yesterday. Normally when we have anyone over, even family that he knows, he is scarce, we rarely see him. Not yesterday!  He spent alot of time on folks laps, primarily my DSIL's lap. just hanging out and chillin'. It was just so cool to see, him being part of the group. Lola decided half way through the day that she was tired of being Miss Helpful Kitty and went to sleep on the back of the sofa, right next to my son's head. That too was kinda cool. Elsa, well Elsa... out and about she was - we had sun! With the weather being so gorgeous, for part of the day, Elsa spent almost all of it outside on the deck or in the yard. She is so good, and does not wander anymore. Good girl! Guess I can safely say: Normalcy in MusketeerVille!

Have a great day everyone! I'm not too sure what will be here today. One of those days when I shall see what comes to be. If the weather clears some I may go do some local hiking. Our sunny skies may show, maybe. Paws crossed!

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN cat_pet_icon

It looks like you had a great Easter brunch yesterday. I love how the kitties participated. I hope you got some sun today so you could get a hike in.

Hi Michelle,
I've been pretty much absent this weekend (and then the Board was slow), but I'm so happy to see that you and your family had such a great Easter weekend. And just think, you now have 2 days to rest up for the boys!

I hope that you can get out for a nice walk/hike tomorrow.

Hugs and scritches,

Ella & Rustry

p.s. to Elsa: you saved the day on Easter with your glorious coffee that morning. I don't think I could have gotten much done without it. Thank you Kitteh Barista!

Hi everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. Ours was great! We made 63, under semi-sunny skies, much better than expected. And I shall not complain. Rains are due around Midnight, 60/70/80% over the next few days. I think I am glad that I got out today. :-D I has a few errands to ke care of in the morning, didn't finish til 10 or so, so.... local out and about hike was required. I went to the Cougar Mtn area, and did Coal Creek. it is a trail Nicholas and I have done alot, as it suits him, and there are sections that he really likes. I kind of wanted to go back today and see how it was, how the access etc is. They are working on the road and an underpass for the creek and the trail, so one of the access trail heads is closed. Anyways - I found the alternate way in so that I can get him back there, to the section that he likes, instead of the other end whihc would require him to be hiking for 6 miles. Probably not too doable for him. I did the whole thing today, much more than he will, had a blast hiking it. I did an offshoot trial that has been closed for a few years due to a washout. Technically it is still closed but I went anyways, figuring I can always double back if need be. Wow, they have done alot of work there, and are almost ready to reopen. Didn't have to double back.... nice! So, all in all, a nice hike today. I did 7 miles, climbed maybe 900 feet, had a great time. The creek there is a pretty one. I will post the Picassa link in tomorrow's condo.

Hi Carla ~O) THX, we did! It was a great family time, and actually rather relaxing. Me too on the kitties - that really was nice to see, especially for Bug. And yes on today - it was decent enough that I could get out.

Hi Ella ~O) No worries - and I know on the Board - I had trouble too, and finally had to just give up, so I missed alot of folks. THX, we really did have a great time. Funny, but I was thinking the same thing - I've two days to recover from five busy ones! YAY! Plenty of time! THX too on today - I did mange a nice creek hike. :-D :-D :-D Not too sure on tomorrow, might go then too!
Auntie Ella!!! You are so welcome! it was my Easter special, and well, so glad you liked it. I hope all your company did too! :-D ~~ Elsa, KBP
