Yesterday's Condo

It's a quiet morning so far. Gabby got out of bed to sleep in the toy basket. I got more sad looks at breakfast - today, from both cats. They are clearly not enamored of having their breakfast split into two meals. Oh well, is rescheduling meals/snacks will create less dramatic drops and fewer rebounds, I think both Gabby and I will be happy.

Hi Sienne,

My kitties were rather appalled at first, too. Now they LOVE it. If their bean could get her act together, she would get some batteries for the automatic feeder she bought last month and try that out so she didn't have to get up at 3 am every day, but Basil is okay with it just the way it is!

Hi, Sienne and Gabby!! Not liking the mini meals, eh? I agree, I think you all will be happy with the results, you know these CrAzY kitties.. Thinking they know best!! Sienne, you're stronger than I am. I got the sad look and licking the flowers off the dish this morning, so relented and gave Checkers more. :roll: He did accept a snack later tho.
The less steep drops are worth it though. Good luck getting your kitties to accept it. :smile:

I am not surprised that Gabby & Gizmo tried to guilt you with their food.
I can just picture those faces looking at you.
I bet you are a master at not caving to guilt though.

Spot is not really happy with getting mini meals either. He acts like he is starving all the time and I caved in several times and now he's got the chubbs thing going! Diet will start today, poor thing

Those sad looks are pretty hard to resist. Who am I kidding, impossible to resist! But Kitty stopped complaining about mini-meals as soon as he figured out that meant LOTS of meals! I think Gabby just needs to think this through.
