Yesterday
So of course I spoke too soon about everything yesterday. After her little crash off the computer chairs, Trix's appy went into the crapper. I don't know if she was rattled by the crash (she is really sensitive in that way) or if it would have been a crappy appy day anyway. Her demeanor was full-on Trixie - spunky, feisty, snuggly, hunting down stray kibbles dropped by the civvies - there was nothing in her behavior to indicate she was "off". We even had a very enthusiastic Mannie Fuds dance at dinner, and multiple attempts at breaking into the master bedroom. So I don't know. I ended up doing a couple assist-feeds last night, just to be sure she had enough calories. If it were any of the civvies, I'd wait it out, but I just can't take that chance with Trix.
This morning her appy seems to be better so far, but still a little on the fussy side. She certainly is handing out snuggles left and right, though.
Spoke too soon about my Dad, too. He was having some digestive issues, so he decided he wasn't up for going out to dinner after all.
So overall not a very happy day yesterday. All the ups and downs have really worn me out. Someday I'll get back to being able to visit condos consistently, but right now I feel so tattered. I am peeking in on everyone, but can't always muster the energy to post....
With that...today is an oncology day with my Dad, so time to get moving. I don't imagine will have any new revelations yet, and I'm pretty sure we won't be seeing any treatments until after we go to Penn on May 1. But I guess we do need to check in.
Have a great day, L&LL!
