Trix took a brief lagoon break last evening, but headed back that way this morning :mrgreen: !

We have a low-key Easter day ahead....just dinner at my folks. I'm starting a new tradition: I'll be making vegan Easter Pizza :lol: ! When my Dad was in the hospital earlier last week, he was joking about having pizza for Easter dinner, so I said I would make it. Should be interesting! DH and I love it...hopefully the rest of my family will be OK with it. It's funny because they do eat very healthy and often eat vegan/vegetarian meals, but they get a little freaked if you actually apply those terms to what they are eating. For dessert, I made vegan Chocolate Mousse Pie with Peanut Butter Whip and a pretzel crumb crust. Needless to say, I can't wait till dessert :lol: !

Okay....so my mouth watered as I read your condo. Can I join you all for dinner? I promise - I won't complain about a vegan pizza. I luuuv pizza! I hope you enjoy your day with your family. (Trix, surf safely so the bean can enjoy her time.)

Missy Flat Cat so far today...hopefully she'll keep the routine up through dinner, when we have to be at my folks. Fortunately, they live just around the corner....

Vegan Pizza. Now that is a cool tradition to be starting. I hope it goes over well. I so love Easter dinners that are out of the norm. The years prior where we did dinner, not the breffis we do now, we did lasagna. YUM! Have a great time with your family.

I have to agree - that dessert sounds awesome!

With that dessert, I believe I'd eat dessert first. Just sayin'. Lifes too short to eat dessert last :lol: :lol: :lol: Hope your dad is better today and you and Mark have a lovely dinner with your family.

I can't believe she threw me a 48. There is more to the fiasco of this evening, but I'll have to recap tomorrow since time is running short. She had an HC/Karo appetizer which she thoroughly enjoyed, followed by din-din. We'll retest before actually shooting (in about 15 minutes), but I am sure we'll have to go with a BCS since we need to go to my folks. We'll probably leave her more HC, and one of us can run home between main course and dessert to check on things, since - as I mentioned earlier they literally live right around the corner.

Argh....

I can't wait to read your condo tomorrow. You have me imagining all kinds of thing that would qualify as a fiasco. At least I know one of them isn't that there's a problem with Trixie (except for the low number). I hope you can enjoy your dinner. How nice that they are so close.

She was a good girl and ate her HC while we were out...not that that is a surprise :lol: ! Since all these numbers are fuds influenced, we'll have to be extra vigilant tonight to make sure she stays safe. I did shoot a BCS of 1.50 rather than her usual 2.50. I will probably take a reduction tomorrow and see how she does with it.

I'll share the fiasco story tomorrow, when I have more energy! It was a wicked coincidence of timing.

Likewise, Liz, I'll forward the recipes on tomorrow, too. My Dad actually asked me to leave the rest of the vegan pizza, which was a shock...so I guess it was a hit!
