Good Morning LL! Yes back to her recent pattern of short bounces! :mrgreen: :mrgreen: Another good morning ahead. I'm going to attribute last weekend to stress and different food.

I got my order in from ADW and the Monoject syringes are the half unit markings even though it doesn't specify that on the web page. :-D

WCR All 5 Ps and a clean plate again to day. All is Well in Tessville.

Tess seems to be setting up for a repeat of yesterday. :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: At +2 we gave a drop of syrup to slow things down and it looks like it worked. I'm sure she will still go lower, her nadir on the low days seems to be about +7 or 8, That's Levemir for you! :-D

Wow, Ann, Tess is looking great. I'm so glad that she cleared that bounce quickly and is back to her good numbers. I checked out the Monojects on ADW and see that if you actually click to get the full description, they specify 1/2-unit markings. The end of the description says that a physician might have to write a prescription. Did you have to have a prescription? Hocks never required one.
ADW prices are really good.
Have a good day. It'll be interesting to see what Tess does with her numbers today.

Ann...I was looking for your description of how you do the drops. I thought I saw it on your condo the other day but went back several days and didn't find it. I believe you said you get consistent drops by rotating the plunger up JUST until the drop slides down the syringe and that you get four drops between ???? I don't remember what you said and can't find it. I tried this the other night and got three of those drops (which were quite large) between .5u and 1u which is alot less than I get when I'm microdosing Gracie. I use the same syringes as you: MJ, 31g and I was very careful to start counting the drop AS soon as it left the tip of the syringe. For me, between .5u and 1u, I've been getting small drops and got a sk1u, .75u, sk.75u and the fourth drop of just a little bigger size took me to .5u. I could have done a f.5u but it would have been a little smaller than the other drops. I like your consistency, though. Thanks!!

The syrup has done it's work again. :mrgreen: It seems to last about 2 hours w/ Tess. So we will probably have another dip next hour.

Marjorie, Thank you she is , …. nope won't say it! :roll: Still holding my breath over it all. :mrgreen: :mrgreen: If I have the plunger full on the .5u line (top and bottom of plunger lined up w/ top and bottom of the line) I get 5 drops that just run off the bezel of the tip, for a full unit it would be 10 drops. I think Levemir is a little more viscus than Lantus and that could make a difference. This is just my way of making sure I get even drop size, I found a description of doing this on the Levemir ISG. If you can consistently get smaller drops, go for it. I can adjust this to get a half drop too and I have done that when getting way down there. ohmygod_smile

Ella, No, I didn't need a prescription to get the syringes, it may depend on where they are being shipped because of state laws. I went back and looked and couldn't find any mention of the half unit markings. Their SKU # was the same as a number on my box except for a prefix, so I felt safe ordering them though. This is what I saw. Did you find something different?

Definitely a KK Day! I fed this 48 with just a little LC because we are at +8 which is usually her nadir. :mrgreen:

Gorgeous cycle today, guys!! So glad the monojects arrived and were as expected. I had ordered them previously and they had the 1/2u markings as well. I hope the FDMB is able to get an affiliate commission set up through them... they are a valuable resource!!

Nice to read that the ADW monojets are the half unit markings - i didn't order them from them because I could tell for sure and didn't want a full box on full units. good to know.... so thanks for mentioning it.

GREEN DAY! Tess has finally decided to attend a party dressed in GREEN!

Michelle, a couple of white one toward the end :lol: Giving the ears a break. I had hesitated on ordering from ADW too, but Christie said she got half unit marked syringes, so I went for it.

Christie, , thank youI don't know if they will do affiliate or not, but I get to them through MrRebates. They give an 8% rebate, so I am just setting that aside for FDMB. You can get to a lot of sites through them and I'll do as much online shopping as possible that way and use the rebates as a donation to FDMB. My favorite book site is one! :-D

Maggie, I'm a firm believer in going as slowly at the end as possible. I actually get 4 drops from .1u as shown in the pix in the stickies, so I figure Tess has a ways to go. Just going under 50 doesn't work for her.

Thanks for the info, Ann. I think that may be it...different consistencies of the insulin.
