Yesterday's Condo

Sammy's numbers are a bit higher than I expected after shot time this morning. I did put about ¼ tsp of pumpkin in his food today, so I am wondering if the pumpkin could make his sugar go up a bit?

Today, is a somewhat relaxing day at camp, no major classes or activities planned for today. Hope everyone has a great day.
 
I give 1/4 tsp twice a day to Neko and haven't noticed a difference, but she's not as tightly controlled as Sammy. There are some carbs in pumpkin, but I don't know how it compares to carbs in LC.
 
Hi Tina, I use fresh boiled pumpkin for Crystal added to her raw mix for extra fibre and haven't noticed any increase in her BG levels, but... ECID. Hope you and Sammy are enjoying a relaxing day.
 
Hi Tina, I've been adding pumpkin to Lulu's food for a few days now and haven't seen any increase in BG (other than today's bounce after yesterday's very low numbers). Hope you and Sammy are enjoying the retreat.
 
Thanks everyone, maybe it is just Sammy being a cat. I gave him a bit more Miralax today also, thinking that maybe he still isn't flowing just right yet.

How long should I give the Miralax after he has a poop? Yesterday he had a nice size soft poop, but we haven't seen one today.

Sammy's numbers have not been the best today, but last night he did dip down into the GREEN for a short while. I am really wondering if it need to increase him to .25 u to get things moving again. I know he could be having a bit of stress from being in a strange place, but he really does seem to be acting very calm and settled in at camp.

Hope everyone has a great evening. We will be having some fun evening activities tonight so I probably won't be able to check back until the morning.
