Yesterday

Today was a blah day, of sorts: not much energy, poor appetite, lots of sleep. The weather was again cold and damp. At one point Rusty wanted to go outside to check out the chipmunks, but Edward and I were leaving to walk to the post office, so he had to stay in. The moment was gone! He went back to his bed.

Tomorrow I'll be out all day having my car serviced. It wants new brakes (not a surprise; I put off having them replaced last fall). So I'll be "corresponding" from the Lake Placid Library. The boys will hold the fort. I hope the predicted rain will hold off. I have a long walk from the car shop to the town's main drag, where the library is located.

We are so happy for Lyresa's Spike, who is doing great.

The LagoonMeister is hanging around the water's edge.

Sorry for the blah day. I hope tomorrow is better. Hopefully you don't have to walk to the library in the rain.

Flat low blue/high green day today. His appetite perked up this evening. This afternoon I was down in the cellar riding my bike when Rusty tried to jump up on the shelving where his food cans are stored. He hit an empty cardboard box "wrong", it skittled onto the floor, and Rusty wound up on the floor, unhurt, but dignity lost! I felt so bad for him.
Off to bed now. Rusty is grazing on his nighttime fuds.

We're getting the same cold damp weather here; it rained lots yesterday and it's still yucky out today.

Aw, poor Rusty....I hate when things like that happen and they get embarrassed. I'm glad his appy picked up....Trix's was a bit blah yesterday t00, must've been something in the air. Energy and appy vines for Rusty!
