I left extra wet. She never did that before, so I was panicking all day at work. Do you think I should leave dry as well?I would hold the dose. Yesterday she got to green, and probably lower than the 80's as her AM +2 was considerably lower than the preshot. That's a good indicator of an active cycle to follow. If you see that again and can't monitor, make sure she has lots of food out. She may be bouncing a bit last night and today.
If she's eating any dry food you need to follow SLGS which means she earned a .25 reduction for that 86 yesterday. If she's not eating dry then you can follow TR and take reductions when she drops below 50.Do you think I should leave dry as well?
She hasn't had dry in 3 weeks. I have emergency dryIf she's eating any dry food you need to follow SLGS which means she earned a .25 reduction for that 86 yesterday. If she's not eating dry then you can follow TR and take reductions when she drops below 50.
I agree with Wendy that she may have gone lower than the 86 yesterday and had a mini bounce but already on her way back down![]()
It's ditched, lol. She hasn't had it in 3 weeks. I keep just in case.Instead of dry, you can leave medium or higher carb food if you are worried about her going low. Ditch the dry.
She puked some food this morning. Should I worry? It was only food and she went right back to eating afterwards. No mucus, just food. I'm at work. Very anxious.Work that juice, Pia!! She's looking good...I agree with holding the dose. It can take up to 72 hours for a bounce to clear, so time will tell!
Thank you. I feel better. My bf skipped school. I feel awful. He's missed this class 3 times and professors just don't understand. But I'm at least less anxious. She does seem to drop a lot with her morning dose. A few times anyway. Do you think she stopped too fast? Especially this morning. As long as you left food and water for her she should be fine. Do you have honey, karo syrup or maple syrup on hand for when she goes below 50 on the meter? From her SS it looks like she surfs along and doesn't dive or spike that is really helpful. I'm not sure what others would say but if your concerned she might drop below 50 you can always drizzle some honey on the food that you leave out. And or leave MC or HC out depending how her AMPS # is.
Sorry she threw up this am wonder if she ate too fast?
Pia no more throwing up and surf safe while mamma beans away!
Ok. It's hard on work days. She does graze all day on it. She'll even eat about an hour later. Is her drop something to be concerned about? Some kitties do have sharp drops and spikes. You try and feed the curve. You might want to try feeding her half her meal at AMPS then wait 1/2 hour or hour if you can then feed her the rest of the food.
That will help keep her numbers more flat and not drop so fast. I have to do that with my kitty Fritz sometimes.
She's at 100 now and I'm supposed to shoot. Gonna make a post. Idk what to do.From other cycles it doesn't appear thst she dips fast. That is a good thing. Just keep her numbers above 50 with food and testing
You're awesome. Thank you so much. You'll be fine there is always someone here to help!!!! This Fd feels like a turtle that has to stick his head out to get somewhere. As long as your testing and staying on top of the numbers with food she'll be ok. Remember to get a +1 or +2 that will give you an idea of where she is headed.
