Increased a little yesterday and we're back in the greens. Fed 2 rounded teaspoons FF @ +7 PM because he was already 150.

So I read the discussion "Feed Kitty as much as they want?" along with some of the interesting comments, and I'm wondering if Pepper would need at least a little less insulin if I restricted his food intake somewhat. Currently, he eats about 2 1/2 to 3 cans of food during the day (because he says he's hungry) - about a 1 can at AMPS, 1/2 can at +3, 3/4 can at +5 to +6, and a snack at +7 or +8. He only eats about 1 1/2 cans during the PM cycle, because he's just not as hungry. And he goes much lower at night. Am I feeding way too much during the AM?

I would think you would want him to eat the same amount in the AM cycle as in the PM cycle as he is getting the same amount of insulin for each cycle.

I don't know if you're feeding too much, that would depend on if he's too fat or too skinny or just right.
