What a great day yesterday for Mannie. AM cycle was great, one happy bean. :-D I had so much on the agenda yesterday, and somehow it all fit together... it's as if Mannie knew his bean was busy, and cooperated the best he could. The PM cycle was interesting. I loved the pmps -greens are the best to see. I did feed him 11% from the get go, to prep for onset, considering the green amps. In retrospect, it may have been too much, and bumped him up a little higher than I had hoped. all in all though - a great day. Way to go Mannie! cat_pet_icon

Yesterday was such a beautiful day in the PNW - so much sun, so much blue sky. I let Mannie out as much as I could, he loves it so out there. Most of the time he was content just to lay on the deck and soak up the sun. He was fun to catch when the breezes kicked in: the head angled up just enough to catch the winds just so in his whiskers. :cool: :lol: All is well in MannieLand this morning: one furry purry happy kitty! Breffis consumed with gusto, but alas, no fuds dance! what is up with that? The nanners have taken center stage this morning. I moved them when I vacuumed yesterday :shock: :shock: and the boy has not been satisfied with their placement ever since... so much rearranging. :lol: :lol: Normalcy in MannieLand.

Have a great day everyone! I have my DGS again, in the mornings through Friday - I just don't know how many condos I can get to today. Know that I am thinking of you all, and hope you and your kitties have a great day.

Gosh that's great Mannie is doing so well! I just saw those nanners advertised on Amazon, and as soon as I can get my act together, I am going to order some for Maggie. She's so playful lately.

Mannie is looking great today!! One of my favorite kitty mannerisms is the lift of the head to catch the scent of the breeze... that is actually what Willie's avatar captures!! :) Hope you guys have a great day!

Hey Chef Mannie, I'm on my way. Willie's kabobs are so good and I'm glad he's making them for Choco's party. The whole menu looks great. Can't wait to start the prep. See you in Atlanta! I'll pick up Moonie and we can practice singing on the way down.

Hi Michelle, Mannie's numbers are looking so good. Funny about his retreat to the basement the moment Nicholas arrived! Maybe he can spend some "Nicholas time" outdoors on his deck. We had 5 deer in the yard this morning and Rusty was fascinated (he was inside on his perch; it's raining). Edward went out to get something from the garage and the deer, about 10 feet away, just looked at him. One of them walked toward him. Someone in the neighborhood must be feeding them (it's illegal to feed them). Oh well, it was a very tough winter for the deer with all that snow. Have a wonderful morning with Nicholas.

Wow!! Mannie is doing so well. What a good boy!!!

I envy all of you who are able to let your kitties outside to play. Where I used to live in town, there was too much traffic and I didn't want to take a chance on him being a grease spot on the road. Now where I live, there's desert behind me and I've seen coyotes crossing the road behind my house. I'm sure one of them would think Champ would make a tasty treat :o . I'm going to enlist the aid of my brother-in-law and see about making the patio a screened porch. Champ wouldn't know what to do with himself. The last time he was allowed outside, he caught a bird (alive) and let it go in the house. No fun trying to get a scared bird out of your house, let me tell you!! :lol:

WOW! on the deer - that close! on my hike last week I came into contact with two of them- they do didn't mind my presence, so I stayed and watched them for a while. and yes on your winter and the deer. I wouldn't be surprised if someone took pity and was feeding them...

Hi patty - I know - I do feel lucky that we have an area that Mannie can go out and be outside, play, lay in the sun, whatever. It would be nice if you can get your BIL to help with an outdoor enclosure for Champ. Good Luck!! and oh yes on the birds in the house. been there too! silly cats chase them everywhere then - what nightmare!

Nice to see Mannie coming down at +2!!! He is really, really loving this dose!!! And it's been such a gentle dose for him and for you. It's so wonderful that you're not having to carb the heck out of him. Hope your day with DGS was superb.

Hi Marje - so true - I like that description: gentle dose. he's comfortable with it, it's got him with numbers he seems to like, and YES: I haven't had to fed carb after carb everyday. we've had a couple of times were I've given a higher one, if only because I couldn't watch what he was doing. and yes - DGS is good - a huge time commitment, we are learning how to shuffle things so that life still works here, but all is really good. He is a joy, very easy to care for. :-D

Gracie!!! It's OK if you are pink... you cans till dance, and sing and eat and party and stuff. and we needs you in the kitchen!!! there are no colors in the kitchen - so don't worry! See you there! ~~ Mannie ~~ and besides: I gots green aprons for everyone!
