Yesterday ended up being yellow and pink day... despite a decent amps, and a nice blue start Mannie decided the upper floors needed his attention. I suspect a delayed bounce from those greens from the night before and specifically the speed at which he got there. so.... the yellows and pinks were more or less expected. I hope that it will be a short visit and he can return to those low blues that he seems to like so much. Right Mannie? Sooooo..... think blue, think green! Lubs ya big guy! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D Nicholas decided today that Mannie needed to learn to play with the cat dancer - this pole toy we have with feathers. :lol: :lol: :lol: I tried hard to explain to Nicholas that Mannie really doesn't play much, and well cat dancers go unnoticed. :shock: DGS really didn't believe me, so he tried all morning long to get Mannie to chase the thing, or just even bat at it. Mannie was so patient with Nicholas... but I could see it in his eyes, the thought: ":Will somebody please tell this kid to get those stoopid feathers out of my ears and nose and eyes and mouth and well... those other places" The eyes were becoming very narrow slits... :lol: :lol: :lol: Yet...he never once batted at the kid or hissed or growled. He laid there and let Nicholas wave that thing all over him. What a hoot! and I?: once again: camera-less..... This morning we had a great test, shoot and clean plate club - AND the auto feeder still continues to be used by Mannie, though Elsa still thinks it has her name on it. Some things just never change. Normalcy in MannieLand. :-D

Have a great day everyone! I still on DGS duty today. WOO HOO!! Back to Nicholas. A swimming day today! YAY! As always, I know I will not be able to visit condos while he is with me, and I will miss you guys! I hope to be able to visit tonight. Know that I will be thinking of you, and your furkids. Hey everybody! What's up? We need a planning day.... Vyktor is soon to go OTJ, and we gots a big party to plan! In Australia!!!! WOO HOO - more moonbeam express travel. Anyways... I was thinking maybe we could hangout on Rusty's porches and plan the party. What'd'ya think? Maybe we could bring all our sick friends and they can relax let the KTSS work their magic, and help plan the party, that might be kinda cool. What'd'ya guys think? ~~ Mannie

Mannie, you are very patient with your pal Nicholas! He'll catch on soon that play isn't your game. Michelle, that looks like a really nice lake. Have you ever been there before with Nicholas? He's really hiking by himself now, isn't he. Have a great swim day today.

Hey Mannie, yes, let's plan for Vyktor's party on my front porch and do some KTSS too. We can go outside and poke around the garden later, too. Rain isn't supposed to begin until this evening. My beans are going to Plattsburgh to buy me some more FF T&G. While they're out, we can use the kitchen!!

Nice +2 there buddy but slow it down. KK? Sorry about the pinks. Tarragon has been hanging out there for PMPS so I hope he is not influencing Mannie in any way. So sweet on the feather play. I can just see Mannie. He is so good with Nicholas. Who would have ever thought it 6 months ago, huh? They are truly best buds.

Have a great time whatever you do with Nicholas and I will be anxiously awaiting photos and videos!!

Hi Michelle, that's quite a drop there for the +2, and I wonder what the Manster is up to today? Mannie, how about a nice surf and a permission slip. Oh how funny with the feather toy. Maggie would love a feather toy and a little boy waving it at her! Did Mannie show his slanted eyes, or are they just reserved for his Bean? :lol: Cool pics of Lake Padden. I think it's great that so many nice places are within driving distance. Nicholas is so cute with his yellow jacket. He looks like he's jogging. Have a great time at the pool and adventure.

WOOT!!!!!!!!!!!! What a morning! Seems that Mannie had his own plans today. He did hop on his board early enough that I felt DGS and I could be gone for a few hours, with the intention of returning to check his BG before heading on out to the park. We left him at 74, returned to a 104. Well done Mannie. Now I just hope he doesn't bounce through the roof, due to the speed on this drop, and the carbs given. :? Paws crossed!

Hi Ella - a big yes on the patience. OMG. That was something else. :shock: :shock: :cool: and yes on the lake-I have made about three trips there with him. I like it in that he can hike it himself, without any difficulty. He did close to 2 miles yesterday, all on his own. :cool: :cool:

Hi Melissa - oh yes on the slow down. shesshhhh! SO that's why Mannie has been so anxious to get to the pinks. His buddy is there. :lol: Come on down guys! Yes on the feather play - and I amazed at how gentle they both are. It is really something! and thank - good day shaping up, even with Mannie's dive. :lol: :lol:

Hi Ann - oh yes - dive champion in action! :shock: :shock: :roll: I now on Mags and the feather toy - I keep telling him he needs to be more like mags - she loves her toy.... Mannie you look great in green, and not so bad in a little blue on the side. :mrgreen:

It was so funny reading about your DGS trying to get Mannie to play, my Daphne would do the same thing, and probably the same look on her face, sounds like the same personality. :lol:

197 @ PMPS. What an awesome day for Mannie. I really look forward to seeing what he will do with this PM cycle... Paws crossed!

ETA: Awesome day with DGS. After the pool we headed off to Picnic Point,a local beach so Nicholas could play on the sand, near the water. He had a grand time, came home totally covered in sand... one happy kid. Mannie was gracious enough to hold on to his blue surf, and let us head out for an additional hour. Thanks big guy! I will post photos in Mannie's condo tomorrow.

Hi Barb - I agree - I wish he'd sport that green more often! :-D Too fun with your Daphne having the same reaction to the attempted play. It is nice to read that there are other kitties who are too laid back to care about play. :-D :-D :lol: I can still see that look on his face. :cool:
