Well, he accidentally slept on the patio ( ohmygod_smile ) and so he missed his +9 snack. Mommy fail! But his AMPS is still pretty good, so I'll take it!

Yesterday

Monarch count:4 chrysalides and one great big caterpillar. It's nice to need less milkweed and clean less poop! We are saving the monarchs over here! I have two of our native milkweeds started from seed in flats for the school garden as well.

Hey Simey, if you want your snack you have to stay awake!!

Hi Kim, Edward is going to plant native milkweed this year, too. We have a "butterfly garden", but there is no milkweed in it. Time to remedy that situation.

Happy Friday, guys,

Ella & Rusty

Morning! love Simon's amps this morning, missed snack or not - great start! Simey -I am with your Auntie Ella - you got to stay awake and in the right place for those snacks...

Very nice on the butterflies. :-D

Enjoy your day today!

Great AMPS Simon! Sleeping on the patio is worth missing a snack for, especially when it is so nice out.

Nice on the milkweed. We have never planted that and now you have me thinking I should. You planted Tarragon so I should plant milkweed. :-D

Have a great day Kim!

So +12 is 58. Somehow I would shoot a 65 but 58 gives me pause. I just shaved yesterday. Do I just shoot it? Simon is not really drama prone.

Re: 4/20 Kim's Simon AMPS 102 +6/59 +12/58 Shoot or reduce?

I think you should shoot and get a +1 and a +2 (at least) to see where the numbers are heading. As long as you have strips, HC and are home to monitor, there's no reason to not shoot.

I just popped on to post Gracie and saw your question. I'm glad Sienne said to shoot. Good luck!!!!

His +9 snack was 1% Nature's variety instinct lamb. Wonder if that made a difference? He usually gets FF or Wellness/Cowboy cookout with fortiflora. I don't always have it on hand, but NVI lamb is the only better brand he'll eat without fortiflora. The Wellness is a stretch even warm with fortiflora. He will eat cowboy cookout prior to any refrigeration (no leftovers, mom!) and he will eat Wellness straight only if it's Turkey and Salmon. Now that I know FF chicken has fish, I'm in a pinch! I know male cats shouldn't have too much fish. I guess it's a secondary ingredient in both of those foods.
