Yesterday's Numbers:
AMBG - 49
PMBG - 42
Thanks for all of your visits yesterday! I'm going to have to spend some time catching up on condos today. We ended up working until after dark in the yard, and I wasn't able to visit many LL "peeps" last night. (Yes, this is what DH and I call you now. On our way to town to buy mulch yesterday, he asked me, "What's going on with your peeps?" I didn't stop talking until we pulled into the store's parking lot 15 minutes later. He was probably sorry he asked! :lol
It's probably good that I didn't visit many peeps last night, because I discovered a new symptom of Feline Slobber Disease - mixing up kitty cat names. Sorry about that Mariko! I hope Ginger had a good poo last night. (I hope Shasta did, too, Deborah!) ohmygod_smile
Well, Jersey may be taking a day off from plotting my demise. DH, however, has picked up the slack. Yesterday, I was so excited to report on our morning ritual:
have been letting early-bird DH get the worm (the morning pokey) most days without too much of a fuss. Of course, the beep of the meter always wakes me up, and I then scream at him "What's her number?" as I lie in bed. It's become a nice morning ritual for us.
(BTW, Marje, this may be a "normal" behavior, but whether or not it's a psychologically healthy behavior is questionable! :lol
This morning, I awoke to the sound of FF cans opening. Wait....that can't be right.....where's the beep? Did I miss the beep? How could I have missed the beep? Where's the beep????? I can't believe I've made it to Day 10 and failed. WHERE is the beep? I waited several minutes for the beep and then, in a panic, screamed, "What's her number?" DH yelled back that he didn't poke the cat. What????
Apparently, DH was scared of poor, innocent Jersey this morning. He said she was really hungry, and he was afraid she would hurt him during the bg check in her frenzied state. What a pansy!
I, of course, can fearlessly take down a fluffer (our nickname for Jersey) with one hand tied behind my back, so I got the worm this morning! This morning's AMBG reading was about 15 minutes after she ate.
Thanks again for all of your visits last night. Rachel, I want to especially thank you for your visit. I know you're still grieving tremendously, and I wish there were words I could say that could ease your pain. Just know that we're all here for you. :YMHUG: :YMHUG: :YMHUG:
Sending out lots of thoughts and prayers to all of the kitties and beans today!
May you all have a wonderful Easter!
