Happy Easter Lantus Land!!

Hope the Easter Bunny hopped by and left you all kinds of little yummy gifts! (Sorry kitties..these are for the beans!)

Well, got a little sleep last night, but twas another night of "sleepus interruptus"...getting an hour here and 30 minutes there just doesn't leave you real "refreshed" in the morning! At least I got a little BTB time this morning and don't really have to go anywhere today if I don't want to. One of the ladies in the senior apartments that DM is in invited her to church this morning, so she's out and about this morning without me having to be there! I am SO pleased that she's making some new friends and that they're starting to include her in their activities!

China's up to her usual tricks today...started at a nice blue, went up by +3 and then BOOM...down she's going! I sure am glad I know as much as I know about her uh... "peculiarities" ...If it weren't something she does all the time, I'd be really worried about a 68 point drop in a little less than an hour. Hopefully she'll slow it down a little, stop around 60 and then surf the rest of the cycle! (Hear that China?? You've been giving your marching orders!)

I hope China keeps surfing those higher greens the rest of the day. That's great your mom is making friends. How is she feeling? Happy Easter.

Mom's gotten over the pneumonia but is back to having a lot of pain in her right leg. They've ultrasounded it twice in the last 6 weeks (looking for a clot) but nothing. She was scheduled for an MRI but then got sick and there would have been no way she could have laid flat and still for 45 minutes when she was coughing so much and unable to breathe. I'm hoping to get that rescheduled this week sometime!

She had a good week last week though...leg wasn't bad and she was feeling pretty good, so it was nice to see her getting out and starting to socialize with the other residents.

It's a gorgeous afternoon, with the high supposed to be in the upper 70's, so I may go out and enjoy it a little...Or I may take a much needed nap! :lol:

Happy Easter Chris. Thanks for visiting Zeke's condo today. Hope you had a chance to both nap and go out and enjoy the nice weather. Enjoy the rest of your day. Maybe China will give you a nice little :mrgreen: present come shot time tonight. Surf safe China.

That's great news on your DM's pneumonia. I know that was a big concern. I didn't know (or remember) about her leg, though. I'm sending lots of healing vines her way. Let us know when the MRI is completed.

China was so well-behaved (in terms of numbers) today. Is she okay? ;-)

I know!! Maybe it was my Easter present!! I'm just hoping she is turning a new leaf and going to listen to me from now on (yeah I know....fat chance of that happening) :lol:
