Trix headed back to the lagoon after a brief break this morning  . She has also decided that Fowl Ball is blechy  . It as fine for a couple snacks yesterday, but by dinner time, she was saying "no way!!" Typical kitty... and that is why we only bought 2 cans. The second can is going back! That's OK, she is still pretty enamoured with her PLC, even though she's gotten "used to it" and does attempt to browse the kibble selection from time-to-time.
I prep their meals in the laundry room, which is adjacent to our family room (where they eat) and has a saloon-style door that swings both ways. Trix always trots in and out with me as I get various supplies during prep time (she's always hoping she'll find a stray kibble on the floor in there). One of those times today, the door caught her sweet little tail a bit. I managed to catch it quickly before it was a full-on slam, but it was enough to scare my sweet little girl...she scurried in to the living room (2 rooms away) and hid under the coffee table  . And I had to serve her breakfast in the living room by the heating vent, and not in the family room with everyone else. Boy, did I feel bad...I hope she forgives me and the door soon, because her trotting in and out of the laundry room with me is one my favorite parts of the day....
Sending extra prayers out to Chyna, Shasta, and Zener...feel better kitties! And to Cinco...just one week left in the cone!
Have a great day, LL!
