All is well with Miss Trix...happy appy, snuggles, feistiness (yes, that means gelcap woes), bright eyes, and belly-roasting by the heating vent. Sorry, Trix, I know you love that vent...but I am looking forward to the day when we are done with heat for the season!! We had a very nice PMBG of 113 last night, even though I wasn't home to give her a +9 snack. She must have eaten some of the fuds I left out. Since her AMBG is so close to being in range, I'm giving her a pokey break and skipping her follow-up +3.5.

My Dad is probably about the same...he does say he thinks he's slowly getting better, and hopefully that is true. I still think the AB is part of the issue, but we won't know for sure until he's done. I thought his doc was calling in 3 more days, which meant he would have been done tomorrow, but it turns out it was 5 more days. Ugh. But, I guess as long as he holds steady and doesn't get worse, it is what it is. He is down to sweating through just one t-shirt at night now...it was 2-3 for a while there, so I guess that is an improvement.

I'm off today...since it's my first day off without a doctor's appointment in eons, I have a ton of housework and chores to do. I need to get on that while I still have the energy and motivation. I'll try and sneak some visits in in between....but I am always thinking about and keeping my L&LL family in my thoughts and prayers, even when I can't stop by.

Very nice AMPS this morning! I am with you about the heat. I love the winter months when I can snuggle up with my knitting and the kitties, but I am always happy when spring rolls around.

Beautiful start for Trixie. I think she deserves a pokey break. :)

More healing vines for your dad. I bet the ABs are the culprit. Hopefully he will get better once those are done.

Enjoy your day off!

What Carla said! It was a long, slow haul to Anne to recover from pneumonia. She didn't do anything for at least 3 weeks and she was 54 at the time. And she wasn't doing chemo. Big hugs to you, Amy.

Nice job, Trixie, getting out of a pokey! :cat: You can probably try that again any time and Mama will react the same way (hint, hint)!

I'm glad your DF is getting better, even if it is a slow process. There are so many factors in play that it is not at all surprising it seems to be taking forever. But any progress is good, so hang in there.

More vines and prayers headed to him and to you. :bighug:
