Morning everyone,
Tessie Lou is still bouncing high. Hopefully it's almost over, poor girl. She has no patience for little brother T.J. this morning. He came charging down the stairs, leaped over her and did a forward somersault to try to get her attention, and she just hissed at him. She just wants to be left alone this morning...

A friend just sent me a link to the coolest live streaming video of a mother eagle on her nest, and the first of 3 eggs just hatched! It's so exciting, and the quality is exceptionally good! www.raptorresource.org and click on Bird Cams.

Awesome! I got to watch her snuggle back down over the hatchling an two other eggs! So gentle!

It seems both Tess girls like pink today, they need to adjust their color sense. You both look better in cool colors, my dears!

Yes, isn't it a beautiful sight to see the mamma eagle tending to the little one. If you look close, you can see a couple peck holes in the other two eggs! They just went off line, though, so we'll have to check back later...
Ok, girls, enough with the pink! Tessie decided to skip yellow and go right to blue! Just did a +3.5 spot check and she made it to 189--yay!

Hi Sandy,

I've been watching another eagle cam and I can only watch it for short times. The one bigger eaglet is a meanie. Sibling rivalry big time. I know its nature but its hard to watch :lol: I'm loving the baby panda cam too. Enjoy the hatching eagles *clapping*
