Rupert outside front door this morning waiting to come in. BEBT. Ate half his breakfast of Friskies/Merrick mix + lysine. Oliver finished it of. doh! No worries, Rupie will have more at+1 as per usual. Sleek, glossy happy cat this morning. Not quite as ravenous as he has been in the mornings. Pleased that this bounce hasn't gone quite as high, just into the pink... hoping it clears again but perhaps not quite as fast as yesterday. Am going btb for a bit more snooze, that 2am check was a killer!

Happy Monday, sigh, to everyone. hope Big Mac does well today.

Hi guys .. keeping fingers crossed this bounce doesn't go any higher, and rupert takes his time coming down for you .. Glad to hear his appy is calming down as well .. it's hard to see them always so hungry .. poor little bodies .. anyways, hope you guys have a great day!

+2 and bounce clearing already. Pretty much the same profile as yesterday! about 57 pts per hour. I have to go to work in an hour, will try to test before I go and I"ll be back in 4 hours after that. If he follows yesterdays pattern that should work out well. He is eating another snack now - Merrick LC about another tablespoon and a half. Seems fine, not ravenous but did eat well. He's on the window sill having a clean now. Gotta dash to the barn and feed the horses, then pick the hay out of my hair ready to go to work!

I polysporined his ears again, poor fella, lots of pokes last night have left them pretty sore. Hoping he surfs the blues again today and maybe some nice stuff tonight that is good, but lets me get a little sleep! Yeah, I'm such a whiner, no pro like Serryn (yet!).

In your defence I have been taking a lot of holiday time off from work, also I'm just too tired to whine :lol:

It looks like Vyktor's got his board shorts on tonight and next test permitting I'm planning a whole 3 hours of uninterrupted sleep - bliss.

Pip, can you get the neosporin (that's polysporin?) with pain relief? That does wonders on Zener's ears. Rupert, way to break that bounce in short order. Good job! He is doing so well. :-D :-D

Liz, yes, I'm using polysporin on his ears daily. it is definitely helping. just feel so bad for him! but he IS doing really well. very proud of my boy, surfing some nice blue today, seems like he slowed down the dive this morning a bit. +6 and a 165.. I'll take that. hoping he doesn't throw me a massive low number again tonight!

Does the polysporin have pain relief? I felt badly about poking Zener's ears for a long time then decided that poking his ears is minor compared to what high BG does to his organs and low BG does to his brain. He is a model patient and hardly complains at all about all the stuff we do to him. :-D Very nice +6! Z and R are a team today.

yup, it's the polysporin ointment with the pain relief (got the wrong stuff at first, the cream.. that made the blood just disappear, the ointment makes it bead). I think he's just crotchety from the indignity of it all. He knows it's coming, can't avoid it, and has to at least growl or threaten me now and then. Most of the time he's perfect. Today, however, apparently the fresh bits of raw steak are NOT cutting it. What next mr. Rupie? fresh Maine lobster flown in specially????

darn. first pink PMPS in 9 days. only to be expected methinks. he tried clearing the bounce but I think this might be left over. either that or him saying that the reducie was too soon. Will see how he does with the 2.25 this evening.

Rupert is making great progress even with that bit of stinkus thrown in, pink is much prettier than red. Vyktor's gone a little higher following some reductions but he's come back down again so I wouldn't worry yet, well actually I would worry what I should say is that you shouldn't worry yet - Do as I say not as I do :lol:
 
+3 and +3.5 at 288 and 284 so surfing the yellow this evening. Hoping that's not a sign that we took the reduction too soon. Time will tell. At least it looks like I get to go bed early tonight! Have a good evening everyone!
