Re: 4/2 Ruby (AT) AMPS 252

Its not an unexpected bounce, especially after her double dip yesterday.

Re: 4/2 Ruby (AT) AMPS 252

I just checked in with the husband and she's self feeding some lunch right now.

I'm thinking she must be pretty carb sensitive. The flavors of FF I normally feed her are between 2% and 3%. To bump her up last night, I gave her some Chunky Chicken FF which, according to Janet's sheet, is 5% and she reacted to that right away. There isn't any gravy in it, its basically like pate with some larger hunks in it (kind of like the hunks that are in the "marinated morsels" varities). I'm going to make sure I keep a stock of it on hand because if I can use it to bump her up, instead of resorting to the much higher carb gravy, it would be great. I will still keep the gravy for more extreme situations. It only took about 2 teaspoons of the Chunky Chicken to show a difference in her numbers last night.

+11 174

Very nice! She came thru the bounce really well. I expect we'll be back on track tonight.

Very nice!!

I agree with you on the gravy. In fact, we totally quit using it. ECID but it just really made Gracie bounce all that harder. Some cats that are not carb sensitive definitely need it for those really low numbers but I think if a LC or MC gets the job done...go for it. She did great with the 5% last night!
