Yesterday on Katherine 's Ruby , I had Lantus on my hand after her PM shot. Therefore, I thought no insulin went in her, but the numbers tell me otherwise. Today, I thought her BG would head steeply downward after her shot because of the fur shot last night and I didn't feed her any beef last night or today, but the numbers say otherwise. Given how long I've been at this dance, I think I know what to expect, but these cats love foiling predictions, don't they?

Just when we learn the dance, they change the steps on us. They are cats! They take orders from powers much greater and higher than us.
