Good morning, LL!
Ripley's doing just fine this morning :-D .

Thank you for the visits last night Courtney, Wendy, Deborah, Sienne, and Marje :-D .

OT: Back to work after having 10 days off. I have mixed feelings ~ I LOVE my job; but I also love being at home, going btb, testing Rippo, etc.
I miss all of my little kiddos (all 24 of 'em!), so once I see them it'll all be worth it :-D .

I'm holding ((Aseel)) in my heart and sending love and light her way.

Re: 4/2 Ripley AMPS 117

Morning Josie, I bet it is bittersweet, not wanting to leave Ripley but also missing the kiddies. I bet they really miss you, too.
Nice AMPS for Ripley and hope she has a safe surf in the Green Lagoon. Have a good back to school day.

Re: 4/2 Ripley AMPS 117

Hi guys .. very nice numbers for ripley! It's always so hard when time off comes to an end, but when you really love your job it never takes long to get back into the swing of the work days .. have a great day guys!

Hi, Melissa, 10 days off was quite nice. But so was being back at work. :-D

Hi, Ann, it was so good seeing the kiddos today ~ I got so many hugs. Best job ever.

Hi, Devon, you're right ~ it didn't take long at all to get back into work. I hope you had a great Birthday!

This morning before I left for work I witnessed something I haven't seen in A Very Long Time ~ since long before Ripley's FD diagnosis in November: she batted at a little toy mouse! Dare I use the word 'play' even? She's never been a very playful kitty ~ even in her youth she wasn't one of those dart-around-the-house-with-craziness kitties. She used to carry her 'prey' toys and meow that deep "I've caught something" meow. That was the extent of play for her. (Her favorite prey-toy was one she's had since kittenhood: a small stuffed animal from The Lion King ~ Rafiki the baboon. It was a McDonald's happy meal toy from a friend, and when she saw how much Ripley loved it, she gave Rip 2 more Rafikis to add to her collection. They still pop up around the house from time to time, all ragged and worn. But Ripples hasn't played with any of them in a long time.) So, I was grabbing my belongings this morning, and Ripley reached under the couch and batted this little toy mouse about 2 1/2 times. If I had blinked, I probably wouldn't have noticed it. I couldn't believe my eyes. I ran to my DH and excitedly told him (he smiled, knowing how rare it is for Ripley to play, and then high-fived me ~ such a guy  ).

So, and I'm proud to announce, that Ripley's 5 Ps are in place.
Every. Single. One.
:-D

Wow - what a wonderful story! I am smiling thinking of you seeing her play after so long. I hope she continues to play and play with her McDonald's toy!

Sorry about back to work, but Ripley surely left you with a nice vision of play while you are gone.

Today so far:
AMPS...117 (ate 2.5oz Wellness Turkey + Cowboy Cookout, current favorite combo)
+9...95
PMPS...100 (ate 1oz. of combo)
(100mls sub-q fluid @+1.75) (ate 1oz. of combo)
+2...85 (ate rest of combo, .5oz.)

Thanks for the visits Lisa and Carla :-D .

Ripley was basking outside, and decided to NOT come in for her pepcid dose/test/shot/dinner.
So she had a dinner picnic in the backyard, in the sun.
Yes, I cater to her every whim.

I wonder where we are going after this 85 @ +2...
