Recap of yesterday's BGs:

AMPS - 141, 11th cycle on 0.05u Lantus
+3- 135
+6- 125
PMPS- 171, 12th cycle on 0.05u Lantus (started feeding 1 tsp 2% carb mixed with 1 tsp 0% carb at meals)
+3- 100
+6- 75
+8- 138

This morning's AMPS was 167, and Cini's +3 was 112.

Cini is loving this new food routine, he practically cleaned the bowl this morning :-D Makes me feel better too that he's more eager to eat. He's already a bag of bones, I can feel his spine and where his extra rib bone pokes out :oops: So, keeping him eating is important. This used to be a 13 lb cat at one time and now he's barely 9lb 5 oz. I'm going to run him by the Vet's office to get weighted later today. I haven't done that in over a month so he's due.

Looks like we might see green during the AM cycle today. That 112 at +3 is promising :mrgreen: As Libby pointed out in Cini's condo yesterday - around the 12th or so cycle is when Cini gets moving.

First time in a week Cini's been green in an AM cycle.

I went ahead and fed 2 tsp 2% carb just now and no 0% carb.

89 for the PMPS!

I went ahead and fed all 2% carbs with his meal. He ate soo good! Practically half the 3oz can! :-D

Very, very nice. The 2% might not be enuff to raise his BG but it will keep him happier. AND if he comes down and settles into the dose, he won't need an increase. His numbers look good today so I wouldn't get too itchy on the
syringe. Like I do :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

I have higher carb at the ready in case I need it (4%, 7% and up) :-D

Thank you so much for advising me not to increase just yet and see how higher carb food was going to sit with him! :mrgreen:
