All yellows yesterday, now pink this am. Off to work so no testing. Hopefully she will come down today. Seemed more hungry than normal and was yowling right after she ate last night and got xtra helping of food from grandma! Have a great day everyone.

Hopefully, Chi Chi will be back in lower numbers this evening. I'd encourage you to do your best to get at least one in addition to your PMPS test during the PM cycle. Many cats experience lower numbers at night. In addition, if you don't test at night, you're missing half of your data.

That's not a pretty color to start the day, Chi Chi! I hope she comes down for you this evening, Laura.

I've definitely noticed that Jersey is hungrier when she hits the pinks. I've been worried since she's started hitting blues and greens that she isn't eating enough. I just think she doesn't need to eat as much when she's in those numbers. Regardless, it's great that Chi Chi is eating well!

a before-bed test can reveal a lot, especially since you're gone all day.

how sweet of grandma to give her some extra food! :lol: at my house, the critters knew my dad was the soft spot and could be won over with the sad-eyed pitiful "i'm starving and only YOU can help me" look. :lol:

Thanks everyone, and Julie.. Yes, I do try and often get an extra +pm test before bed, and since I go to bed at 11:30, that's only a +4. I basically work eat and sleep! but mostly work. I am in management and on salary, so they like me there a lot. I work at an assisted living community which is fairly brand new(6 mo), so we have a lot of growing pains and its very challenging right now. I love the place and its very rewarding to assist the elderly.. its like I have a whole lot of grandmas and grandpas. With Chi Chi, I wake up late at night sometimes and get up thinking I will test her, but cant find her, because she has hiding places she sleeps in. I end up back in bed. Some nights she sleeps on the bed with me, and its easy to test of course. I use to sleep in occasionally, but since she was dx, I haven't once slept past 6:45am. I'm sure we can all relate to that! But..I did just get a +3, so I'm trying. Ok, good night all and I wish all your kitties well.
