Now to just get her eating the wet in the proper amount, although given no choice she is nibbling at it but not nearly enough for a full meal yet. So once she's eating properly the greens may not hold. But one step at a time.

This morning I actually got a tiny purr from her while giving her chin and cheek scritches although she was still trying to growl while purring.

Gosh I think back to when mommacat first arrived and how there was so much hissing and hiding and growling - even at me. It seems so long ago but in just four weeks mommacat has calmed down and is coming downstairs without too much commotion. I marvel at how they come around and how much the tiny victories become more of the norm.

So happy to hear about her purring. You deserve some Cali purrs!

Very nice number for Cali this morning and nice to hear she is taking small baby steps to start to coming round. Keep coming Cali one tiny step at time.

Woohoo she ate all her breakfast of wet food..okay so it took a little catnip garish but its still one more baby step forward.

Sigh...she left lunch untouched but she is starting to enjoy me petting her and will stretch her neck out for chin scritches. Now to just get the eating down so I can tell where here blood sugar really is and if she does or doesn't truly need insulin.

7 of Humulin N of all the lousy insulins out there. Poor baby really hope I can get her converted completely to canned and send her home OTJ. So she'll never be overdosed again.
