OMG!!! Zener cleaned up Tillie's bowl! This is the first time THAT has ever happened.

It has been a flat day, first flat yellow, then a mid-cycle drop to blue (which earned him a pill pocket and a honey laced treat while I went to school), then a blue surf right into PMPS.

We'll see what happens tonight. I did take a little nap this afternoon. I still want to know who gave Zener the idea of mid-cycle dives. It's his newest trick, just when we thought we were getting a handle on his unpredictability. My top suspects are Mannie, Rupert, and Gabby. :-x
Another question I have is how to account for food left in the feeder overnight. When Tillie didn't like what we left in there, I just assumed that Zener ate it all. Plus Tillie was sleeping in the back bedroom and it took her awhile to figure out there was freeze-dried chicken. Now that game is up, they are eating the same food and she is sleeping nearer the feeder. Zener is eating really well right now so maybe we won't worry about it, since our main concern is that he eat enough to maintain his weight.
OT: Anne is done with her work in London and comes home tomorrow! Yay! She has been able to send some emails but that's about it. She hasn't had very good access to internet nor much time. I have sent her a few kitty pictures which she really appreciates. I know she will be anxious to get back and catch up on the news in LL.
Ann & Maggie: Yes, another successful poo patrol mission. All good there.
Ann & Tess: Zener loves his backyard. It's fenced with a wooden fence so he is pretty safe back there but we keep a close eye on him. His favorite is to go out after dark. nailbite_smile
Ella: Yep, it's flat today, in pretty good colors too. Zener did go around the far corner of the house to check the smells on the tarp over the woodpile. He hasn't gone there much in the past year so it's a good sign when he does. Last summer, his energy level was so low that he would walk about 10 feet then lay down to rest. This year, he's all over the place.
Pip: Zener thinks Rupert should join him for a little action tonight. One last fling before Anne gets home.
