Not much to report here today...I like that! Happy appy, snuggles, general feistiness. She was waiting outside the bedroom door for me when I got up, which is just so stinkin' cute. Gelcaps have been fairly easy, too (anti-jinx!!!!). I'm wondering if the times I have harder gelcap fiascos are when she's not feeling so great...always looking for the answer to "why", and will probably never find it :joyful:!!

She did have a bit of a crash this morning. She was trying to move from one computer chair to another. Both chairs swivel. She had front paws on the black chair and back paws on the red. When she tried to push off the red chair, it started to spin, and since her previous owners declawed her (:(:banghead:o_O), she lost her footing on the black chair. She landed on her side on the hardwood floor. She's fine, but she's so sensitive that it did rattle her for a bit. I snuggled with her for a few minutes on the couch, and then she wanted a little "alone" time. When I got back up from my BTB, she was over it and very bright-eyed again.

My Dad is feeling pretty decent...decent enough that he wants to try to go out to dinner tonight. We're going to make the final call this afternoon. He's been talking about doing this all week, though. Hopefully we can make it!

Gotta start getting for work....have a great day, L&LL!

Trixie, don't feel bad. I had a bad experience with a desk chair, too. I was standing on one  to reach a plant on a high shelf, and it scooted out from under me. I came crashing down, broke the chair and a rib, and pulled all the muscles in my side. I'm lucky it wasn't worse. But I don't trust those chairs anymore, and I'll bet you don't either!

Another lovely AMBG and great Trixie report. Sending vines to help your DF feel well enough to go out for dinner.

Interesting theory on ease of gel capping being an early indicator of how Trixie feeling. Paws crossed for a long stretch of feeling good.

Darn computer chairs.

I hope you'll have a great dinner out tonight.
