yesterday's condo
Last nights numbers just awful, but yet again, even with storms coming today, my boy wants to lay in the sun which is
just fine with me but i don't understand those continuous night time numbers being where they are. Will that eventually stop and why isn't it happening in the morning?
By the way, all 5 p's accounted for. He wanted to play again this morning and he actually ran after the fuzzy tail wand i have and started to bite at it and wiggle his tail like he was going to pounce. I must get some video of that today. I don't know what it all means but for now i think he's feeling a bit better, and that's really what it's all about isn't it, Tommy feeling better.
Yesterday afternoon i got another prescription from my Vet for more lantus. I've done my research and have read the forum on Canadian drugs and have gotten input from you all and i placed an order last night through pharmacyrxworld.com for 5 pens for $110. (free shipping). Which is going to be saving me almost 50%. So that's cool.
Also, I read all of the forum on Gus from 4/17 when she was talking about him being at 600 and maybe starting (R) for him. I know she already got some, but when i was at walmart yesterday getting more needles for Tommy I looked into the price there and they want around $25. for the generic brand (10ml) vial.
I've been giving some serious thought to starting him on that and with everything I read from what Libby and others have had to say, it might be something to consider, and soon. I'm a little nervous, so i hope i can enlist your help when the time comes.
Hoping all of you and your furbabies are doing well this Tuesday.
Thank you LL and have a wonderful day! :-D

Thank you Julie so much. I just saw that. I appreciate you taking the time to show me where it is. My goodness that will take some practice. One can only grasp a tiny bit just how potent (R) is in reference to how much lantus i'm giving Tommy right now. I will start practicing just in case.

Re: 4/19 Tommy AMPS 260,+2 184,+3 179, +5 137

I do not think Tommy is needing R at the moment -- especially with numbers below 200. I'll ask Libby to take a look though.

Tommy has some very good numbers in the AM cycle and then bounces later in the day. And yes, this does stop (hopefully) sooner rather than later. It looks like Tommy is clearing those bounces pretty quickly since it can take up to 72 hours for a bounce to clear. It looks like it took less than 12 hours from last night.

Thank you Sienne for the explanation on the bouncing, i am learning so much from all of you. I too am noticing the bounce clearing more quickly. I would never start (R) without consulting you guys first. I thought that since he keeps having these high numbers that i should consider starting that, but i understand what you are saying.
